Gloria receives some horrifying information and tries to stop a friend from doing something she believes the friend will regret. Ndumiso is intrigued when he meets a man to conclude some very serious business. Lerumo and Anzani realise that they may have let themselves in for more than they bargained for.

Maletsatsi receives devastating information about someone she has held dear. A woman's arrival at NFH reveals a shocking truth about Mlungisi's past. Lerumo seems to have a new mother figure in his life but Anzani is not happy about it.

Gloria goes on the attack in defence of a friend and Thembeka receives information which she is determined to use. Mlungisi is unsettled by the persistence of someone from his past. An apology comes out wrong, but still has the desired effect.

Eddie is shocked into a personal realisation and Thembeka is met with professional resistance. Lindiwe is questioned by someone she believes to be a complete stranger. Anzani reaches out to their new guest, but immediately regrets it.

Everyone in the newsroom is annoyed that a senior staff member is not punished, and Mangi is insulted by a gesture from a friend. Mlungisi is driven to getting the law to step in to deal with a personal problem. Anzani hits on an idea to prove her worth to an elder.

Mangi's fury at a family member is fuelled by two other people who are close to him. Mlungisi believes he is getting rid of a problem, but is badly caught out while doing so. Anzani doesn't feel as good about something as she expected to.

Mangi secretly reconnects with someone who may be able to help him take back some of his power. Mlungisi sets up an appointment, but is terrified of its outcome. Ndumiso's plans are thwarted when he cannot even get beyond step one.

Lucas is blissfully unaware of a big shock that awaits him and starts his next scheme by lying to Layla. Mlungisi is devastated by a rejection and lashes out. Ndumiso needs information which is highly personal, but tasks an employee with getting it for him.
