The 67th annual Primetime Emmy award nominees were announced in Los Angeles on Thursday (16 July) in the build-up to the awards on 20 September. The ceremony takes place at the Microsoft Theatre this year and will be hosted by actor and comedian Andy Samberg.

The nominee announcement was made by Uzo Aduba from Orange Is the New Black and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley.
