revealed the news last week and today SABC3 has confirmed: an afternoon version of Expresso is indeed replacing 3Talk next week - on Monday, 4 May at 16h00. The title of the show: Afternoon Express.
As we mentioned, it's a mix of lifestyle, talk and magazine and Jeannie D and Bonang are hosting. They'll be joined by actress and author Bonnie Mbuli who's becoming a firmly entrenched Capetonian as a detective on
Traffic! by night and now a galpal by day.
The show's being filmed at the Expresso studios in Sea Point and will include inserts from other cities in much the same way Expresso does.
According to the show's executive producer Bradley van den Berg, the topics are going to cater to women specifically: “The show will give women an opportunity to interact and engage daily, gaining many ideas from cooking, fashion, well-being and even finance - inspiring viewers to take the courage, try something new and become their best selves.”
