Live Blog: Big Brother Mzansi Launch Night 2

10 more housemates moved into the Mzansi house on Monday night after Sunday's first-10 arrivals. Instead of arriving in partners, the second crowd arrived solo and were faced with choosing random partners from a line-up of other housemates which means they have to play the game with strangers.

Four housemates arrived, chose their partners from a short video and the final two had no choice when they were left as the Last Chosen.

Of course everyone exploded in reality joy as the first 10 joined the second 10. Screaming, hugging, generally freaking out while clutching booze.

They were all summonsed to the lounge immediately after meeting where Big Brother welcomed them and explained the nominations.

The housemates went on to a welcoming party while nominating in between.

so far nothing eciting to write home about..#sigh. Ntombi is wearing floral pants and floral shirt yho!!! she looks like a confused flower, this girl need a make-over. and the shoes she was wearing last night..no comment but i like her energy...Tiffini way too quite for me...can someone check if her mic is working please. Patiently waiting for the tonight show.

Things are different from last night - housemates are arriving solo and have to choose possible partners from a line-up of nine other housemates. Basically they have to decide which strangers they want to share 2-million with if they win.

@Nolie I think they forgot about us, i've beeen looking for day 3's blog but dololo. Anywhoo, can Sibu please put some pants on? Im traumatised for days. And isnt this that hooker chick wa ko Rockville? And lastly, I would pay in dollars to have ntombi outta there, I missed day 2's opening so im seeing a few hotties here and there, thanks biggie

Hey hey! An update on the daily live blog... we've decided to shake things up and do things more casually this season so instead of having a structured daily live blog we're only going to have a weekly one - for the Sunday eviction shows - and then we can do all other chatting on the Big Brother Message Boards.

By using the Message Board instead it means everyone can start conversations about different topics as we choose or we can simply chatter about the action without things being restricted to the day it's happening. I've started a general convo here: Big Brother Mzansi general chatter.

Doing this also means it'll be easier to find and get involved in conversations about specific topics e.g. we can create threads about specific housemates or incidents that happen and anyone can do it - there's no need to wait for an admin to set things up - anyone can fire things up.

As for what the housemates are doing right this moment: they're busy working on their challenge - a musical chairs/tables/blind-folded doughnuts challenge.

Hey everyone - an update on the Daily Blog...we've been receiving requests for it's return. I've just been chatting to Ms Opinionated about it here. We're happy to return it but then it must be used otherwise it takes up space on the homepage. If no-one chats on it then it's wasting space on the homepage but if everyone wants it and it'll be used then we'll return it.
