The next three months are so crammed with reality shows it's going to be impossible to watch everything and stay sane.
To help you compile your spring reality menu, we've put together this reality pack featuring the must-know details about each South African show, followed by premiere details of the international ones:
The X Factor SA
Premiere date: Saturday, 6 September at 18h00, on SABC1
The reality explosion begins in earnest this Saturday with the debut of the first South African X Factor.

SA's Got Talent 4
Premiere date: Sunday, 7 September at 18h05, on e.tv
One of the first acts of the season.
New acts do their thang for
new judges DJ Fresh and Lalla Hirayama who join long-time judge Shado Twala.
The first six episodes cover the auditions in Cape Town, Jozi and Durban.
Strictly Come Dancing
On: SABC3 on Fridays at 20h00 and Saturdays at 19h00
Five celebrities are still on the dancefloor in the build-up to the finale - coming up on 20 September.

Idols 10
On: M-Net and Mzansi Magic on Sundays at 17h30
First group of eight.
The Top 16 are in the process of battling-it-out for a spot in the Top 11 after a
voting glitch impacted on the Top 10. The first eight wannabes performed last Sunday (31 August) and the other eight perform this Sunday (7 September). The live Spectaculars start the week after.
MasterChef SA 3
On: M-Net on Thursdays at 19h30
The Top 12 finalists were revealed last Thursday and started their kitchen madness in earnest from this week (4 September).

Ultimate Braai Master 3
Premiere date: Thursday, 11 September at 20h30, on e.tv
Snatched away from SABC3 for the new season. Featuring 15 new teams with names including Bushies Gone Wild and Tong in Cheek. A new judge joins the season: Chef Petrus Madutlela.

Dragons' Den South Africa
Premiere date: Tuesday, 23 September at 19h00, on Mzansi Magic
A local version of the international format that offers entrepreneurs very real and life-changing deals while inspiring viewers.

Pawn Stars SA
Premiere date: Tuesday, 14 October at 20h30, on History Channel
A South African version of the international format that follows the comings-and-goings at a pawn shop. The pawn shop owner at the centre of the series is Roy Peretz who owns Cash Inn.

Big Brother Africa: Hotshots
Premiere date: Sunday, 7 September at 19h00, on AfricaMagic Entertainment
Postponed!
After being struck by South Africa's
new visa requirements and a
fire that burnt down the house, Big Brother Africa's on a search for new house to film in. The show's been postponed for now.
Which serves all the rest of the shows well - it's one less title in the competition for viewers. For now.
Besides all of these South African reality shows, there's also an explosion of international reality shows across channels. America's Got Talent 9 started on M-Net this week and Survivor:One World returns to SABC3 towards the end of September.
