Generations crisis update:
The 16 fired Generations cast members have postponed their press conference scheduled for today (Monday, 25 August) because the've been summoned by Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa.
The Generations Actors Guild (a collective made up of the impacted actors) called their own press conference last week in response to
SABC's press conference which was held on Friday.
The meeting with Nathi Mthethwa takes place today and includes all parties involved: the impacted cast, the SABC and Mfundi Vundla's production company MMSC Productions.
The actors' press conference will happen tomorrow (26th) instead.
