Mims...at least go easy on her but is she is as much trouble as you say then have some heart to heart talk with her. I dont mind ausi, the dude brought his kasi lifestyle into my home. One night he was at my place (my persmission of course), without telling him to feel at home and be free in my house, while in the lounge he stood up went into my kitchen opened frige and poured himself some juice #shocked...i didnt utter a word.

The following week he came over again...you wont believe this one (all this time he comes over we sleep in different rooms) thank God for that. He was moody and irate that day from where ever he was coming from. I ignored the mood and behaved as usual. The nest morning i woke up he is not in the house, i call him no answer, an hour later i got very worried simply because my gates were locked and all keys were in my bedroom....yep the coward jumped off my walls and left without a word. Need i say more....that was it!

Xolani invited his sweetheart to Gwigza's for dinner, little did she know that he also invited his mother too to join them. When they all met there, he told them they need to get along, this fihting between friends is not ayoba anymore. lol

Senzo paid lil MJ a visit to warn him about being a Dlomo, he went on and on about how powerful Dlomos are, how they would do absolutely everything to be the mighty clan and all. Also mention even to lie, kill (which really got MJ). I must say, MJ looked more Dlomo than Senzo lol.

Priska came to the Dlomo house, i think they were going out to dinner or something coz they were both on some nice outfits. When Priska entered,Chrissie was painting in the lounge,where they sat and chatted (big mistake). Well Priska greeted and Chrissie was rather annoyed. So after the very nice chat Sbuda told her to go bath, she dipped her hand on paint and put the hand a very nice white dress ya Priska. Sbuda was annoyed and left to call the driver, Priska ran to Chrissie, almost slapped her.

Senzo went to Miss Mya for peace offering carrying Bubbles, they drank and smoked. Senzo then fell and he wasnt breathing,Mya was shocked and panicked.

Oh ya and Jason went to see Mya before Senzo came, he said all sort of rubbish to her (truth actually) and she was rather devastated.

Pastry, maybe he needed you to "address" the mood, not ignore it. Lol... He is younger, and you can be intimidating and very vocal and opinionated at times, so he couldn't tell what he wanted.. Probably male pride said "I ain't sleeping in the guest room tonight", and same pride wouldn't allow him to ask you to open the gate for him.. As for the juice, he probably felt you were close to that extent and he felt free in that space.. I don't condone his behavior, just saying...

SK...most women do it for some feel good mojo, dusting and fun, nothing more as you would notice most women who do that are independent and are not looking for any financial support. Personally i would be very uncomfortable if a young men in his early twenties were to impregnate me. It just doest look right in my opinion.

If I am to settle and be in a long term relationship with a young men, the diff must be yrs younger max nothing beyond that.

Agree with Slyvia, I would be angry as hell if my son were to consider marrying a magogo. Iyhooooo. Ruby is too old for Xolani, Dineo once mentioned that they used to play together which means they are in the same age group. So Dineo will be expected to call Xolani step dad...Sukaaa As for Patrick, I don't know what he wants from Ruby, the story states that he raped her while she was a minor, now they are all good friends, hmmm...Not liking it at all. Am not saying they should hate each other.

@ Goldi, I only watched for 10 minutes or so. There seemed to be too much drama. Some girl was crying because she likes some guy or something like that. I think it was Kat. I haven't watched since. There is no tv for me because my little girl is grounded. So no tv for both of us.

Hi all and welcome back malome Vusik, that is what i used to do with my kids, if i tell them to do something after school and they dont, i show them to the door, lock it and switch off the lights, they will be discussing among themselves, who will knock first, by then i will be by the window, but i make sure they dont see me, then they knock, i will open and all they will say is sorry mom, we wont do it again, i teach them to be clean and responsible, i dont have a helper and dont need one, im so strict, i want all my things in order, and i dont ask them to do a lot, couse i do my cleaning, all i ask them is to clean up after themselves, stay at home and do school work, im not sure about being a liar though, but try it it might work.

Hey Vusi Babe, Nunu, Bubu... My parents are out of town. I threatened to take her to their place and leave her there alone. I thought of doing just that and coming back for her later... I told her she couldn't come to my place anymore some time back and stuck to my word for sometime no matter how much she begged to come over. I guess I later felt bad. I didn't have a choice though this time. I'll try locking her out if she lies again, but I might feel bad, especially because she is terrified of the dark. If a child is really young, the easiest, and probably most effective means of punishment is a very soft voiced and extremely short lecture, followed by punishment … All my children dreaded the "SIT THERE" punishment in their formative years … (There is not greater punishment for a child than to have them sit in one place for a while (up to two hours if necessary, depending on offence) … normally, I'd make them sit in the same room, no talking, no movement, just sit upright … in a chair … I'd read, work or do whatever in absolute silence in the same room … Trust me, if you are raising a child, inert silence is torture they prefer to avoid, the consequence being that they will absolutely avoid repeating the offence… Ever !

You cannot socialise with a child during punishment, the purpose of punishment is to invoke and incur guilt for a transgression, and to allow the transgressor to consider alternate means of accomplishing their agenda …

ALL CHILDREN's agenda is survival, dominance, and to have their way … be creative in developing it, as well as tempering their behaviour with deterrents that create barriers …

A simple way to put this long narrative is …

"A Lack of boundaries
Leads to
A Lack of Respect "

… Simple as that.

Thanks Vus. Very helpful. I guess I need to be tougher on the inside than I currently am.
"Naughty corner" will probably not work for her at this age. I've been taking away things she likes, and she only seems affected for a short while.. she never sulks, atleast not for long. She remains sweet, smiles, and does everything I tell her, except tell the truth.

I think silence works better on her, though it would be difficult for me to adopt. I went silent on stuff I'd usually shout at her for, and she seemed remorseful, became extra nice, did all things she is usually reminded to do, cleaned around (she doesn't like cleaning). I remebered I did this once before. I didn't shout at her when she expected me to. I just went quiet. She felt so bad, she cleaned around, became extra nice to me... She even came when I was cooking and asked if I had called her when she knew I hadn't. I asked her something just before she went to bed. Initial instinct was to lie.. She opened her mouth and kept quiet after she'd just started talking, then decided on the truth..

Thank you all guys for your input. I'll pray for the best and be a better "parent".

Morning family. I totally agree with u ZazoH. The poor man is really old, its pointless holding a grudge against someone who is so close to his grave. If she was able to forgive her rapist friend Patrick, she can do the same to Sompisi. Morning my sweet family. Goldie is right tjo, this house is too quiet. After watching yesterday's episode of Gen,i kinda understood Mam Ruby's resentment towards her father. The old man chased away from home when she was just a child, what kind of a parent does that.
