Do you always have something wikid and witty to say? Do family and friends think you're hysterical? Are you funny?
If so, then you're a prime candidate to enter Comedy Central's stand-up talent search. Starting in April, Comedy Central will be showcasing two unsigned comedy acts at the channel's weekly comedy event The Box Comedy Nights.
The evening takes place on Sunday nights at the POPArt Theatre in the Maboneng Precinct, Jozi and features a variety of stand-up acts hosted by comedian combo
Goliath & Goliath.
Two undiscovered acts will be included in the open mic line-up at these evenings - from Sunday, 7 April. Every week the audience and Goliath & Goliath will choose one winner until eight candidates have been chosen. The eight will go through to a special finale on Sunday, 2 June - to battle for the win.
The winner will get their break at Comedy Central Presents … Live at Parker’s (26 June), hosted by Joe Parker, alongside other top comics. The episode featuring the winner will be broadcast on Comedy Central on Friday 16, August at 20h55.
