  • Joining David as his first guest on tonight’s show is the controversial statements Howard Stern. The American radio personality has backed many celebrities into a corner with his questions and left some listener’s heads spinning with his opinionated views.
  • In celebration of Letterman’s 30th anniversary, Airborne Toxic Event is the musical giest on tonight’s show. The group perform All I Ever Wanted off their 2011 release of the album titled All at Once.


Tuesday 7 August 2012 (Rebroadcast)
  • Two unusual guests visit the Letterman stage tonight, with an appearance from Jungle Jack Hanna and his camels. Dave wonders whether a camel can have a drinking problem.
  • Patti Smith is tonight's musical guest performing a song from her new album titled Banga which was released last early 2012.


Wednesday 8 August 2012 (Reboradcast)
  • Emma Stone is tonight's first guest, talking about The Amazing Spider-Man. She also discusses the pressures of the film’s chaotic worldwide promotional tour.
  • Recently celebrating his 65th birthday and proving he still has what it takes to be a stand-up comedian, Jimmie Walker aka the playful soul entertains the crowd with his tactful subtle jokes.
  • The fun-loving brigade of rock and roll misfits that is Diamond Rugs perform on the Letterman stage. The group perform Blue Mountains off their self-titled debut album.


Thursday 9 August 2012 (Rebroadcast)
  • Justin Bieber is tonight's headline guest. He chats to David and then performs.
  • Also visiting is American actor and avid Poker player Michael Ian Black.


Friday 10 August 2012 (Rebroadcast)
  • The new Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield is tonight's first guest.
  • Making his third appearance on the Letterman couch is New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. The quarterback is working intensely with the program PACE (Protecting Athletes through Concussion Education); David probes to find out more about what this entails
  • Celebrating the release of their new studio album “Overexposed” is Maroon 5. The group performs via streaming.


The Late Show With David Letterman is on SONY Mondays to Fridays at 23h15.
