SA's Got Talent 3 has put out a call for audience members for the show's upcoming theatre auditions that start in Jozi on Sunday, 29 July.
The preliminary auditions began in Durban at the end of June and were supposed to wrap in Cape Town yesterday (Sunday, 8 July) - but didn't. The auditions were washed out by the heavy rain and floods that have hit Cape Town and series organisers are in the process of organising an alternative plan for those who didn't get to audition.
Once the prelim auditions have wrapped the show will be calling back approximately 240 acts who'll perform for the cameras in Cape Town and Jozi. Those who make it from the Durban prelim auditions will join one of the two venues.
Acts will perform for the judges (who'll be announced next week) as well as a live audience.
The Jozi theatre auditions will be on 29, 30 and 31 July at The Alex Theatre - Nr 36 Stiemas Street, Braamfontein.
The Cape Town theatre auditions will be on 4 and 5 August at the Cape Town International Convention Centre - Nr 1 Lower Long Street, Cape Town.
If you'd like to be part of the audience at either venue you can e-mail
talent@rapidblue.com and include the word AUDIENCE in the subject line.
You also need to include the following in the subject line:
- The date you want to attend,
- How many seats you want to book,
- Your city.
Tickets are free and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The season premieres on e.tv on Thursday, 30 August at 20h30.
