! An alert that 3rd Degree celebrates 10 years on air this Tuesday (11 May) with a commemorative special episode titled: Celebrating 10 Years of Investigative Excellence.

Teaser ...

In the year 2000, 3rd Degree burst onto the scene with a big dream. The dream was to create a hard-hitting current affairs show which would take up the cause of the poorest of the poor, leaving lying officials and dodgy operators nowhere to hide.

A decade on, that dream has been realised. Debora Patta, anchor and executive producer of the show, is not only a household name but has become synonymous with investigative journalism.

Over the past 10 years, she’s put the powerful and the wicked in the hot seat, relentlessly demanding replies to tough questions, refusing to take "No" for an answer.

The multi-award winning show looks back at 10 years of chasing con artists down narrow passageways, catching scam artists and crooks red-handed and holding the powerful to account.

3rd Degree is on e.tv on Tuesdays at 21h30.
