THE STORY SO FARProduced by Steven Peterman (“Murphy Brown”, “Suddenly Susan”) and Michael Poryes (“That’s So Raven,” “Veronica’s Closet”), Hannah Montana is a comedy series that follows Miley Cyrus as she steers through the trials and tribulations as everyday teen Miley Stewart and her popstar alter ego Hannah Montana.
As awkward as Miley sometimes feels as a teenager, she undergoes a transformation when performing on stage. Unbeknownst to the students in her school, Miley lives a double life as pop singer Hannah Montana.
She travels the world, entertaining fans with the music written by her manager/dad. A straight blonde wig combined with a flashy pop star style allows Miley to keep her identity as an international star a secret - and most importantly, she knows that she is liked for who she really is.
SEASON 3
Hannah Montana sports a new on-stage look for the new season. Stylists of the series sought inspiration from the 1980s, including tiered miniskirts, leopard prints and fingerless gloves.
Dahlia Foroutan, head stylist for the cast comments: “This year we’re going for an 80s look that is very on-trend at the moment - lots of blocked bright colours, prints and accessories and we’ve even got a bobbed pink wig for Hannah. As Miley gets older it’s good to keep updating her look ...”
Miley Cyrus comments: “I’m really excited about the new series, especially as Hannah has a great new wardrobe - she’s got more of an edgier 80's look with lots of bright colours, gloves and heels and we’ve also cut the wig shorter and made it blonder - it’s really fun.”

The movie Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert was released on 14 March 2008 in 3-D cinemas across South Africa, the first of its kind.

My Friends Tiger and Poo returns to The Playhouse Disney Block for a new season. New episodes will be shown every weekday morning at 09h30 until 3 April 2009.
The new episodes will be supported by an episode from Season 1 directly after each Season 2 episodes. Each of these episodes will focus on one of the characters from the series - to give a greater understanding of them for those who missed the first season.
The Playhouse Disney block airs on Disney Channel weekday mornings from 06h00 to 11h00, and from 06h00 to 08h00 on weekend mornings
