On 3rd Degree this Tuesday:

Episode: ANCYL President Julius Malema In The Hot Seat
Broadcast date: 24 June, 2008 at 20h00
Channel: e.tv
Repeated: 21h00 on the eNews Channel

They presented bare buttocks to the media at their conference in Bloemfontein. They hurled bottles at their rivals as they met to elect a new leader. Now the president of the ANC Youth League Julius Malema has shocked South Africa by saying that they are prepared to kill if corruption charges against Jacob Zuma are not dropped.

Or did he? At a press conference on Thursday, Malema says the press blew what he said out of proportion “with clear, malicious intent”. He added that it was all part of a political agenda to discredit the league.

3rd Degree puts ANCYL president Julius Malema in the hot seat, to answer questions about just how far they are prepared to go to see their man, the president of the ANC, into power.

As much as I like 3rd Degree, I think interviewing this guy will serve no purpose. These youth league guys are idiots who display little intellect in their reasoning, they say things that they know will raise controversy, without thinking about the consequences.
So, this guy being on 3rd Degree gives him opportunity to just carry on speaking out of his a*******e, because he is adamant he is right. And I know if I watch, all that will happen is that I will be even more pissed off by the irresponsibility of the youth league than I already am.

Everytime the guy says something there will always be trouble somewhere.  He gets on my last nerve and having to load articles about him and the ancyl i just want to hang myself.  Recently someone mentioned to me that everytime he says something that is out of relevance its because he took 7 years to finish high school and his mind is still thinking its the apartheid time.

I wont be watching tonight!!!

Malema needs to be groomed, he is proving his enemies right by saying things without even thinking.  I think five provinces are disputing his presidency and he goes and says stupid things like this.  He is the youngest youth leader ever elected (27 years)but he does not think ahead.  If i were him i would strategise so by the age of 35/40 i'm the president of this country.

Can someone please explain why Zizi Kodwa is still the league's spokespoerson?

@Mathaz the congress will resume this weekend where all other positions will be filled so from next week there will be a new spokesperson. Remember the Bloemfontein congress was not finalised hence he is still the spokesperson. Only top 5 was elected.

This is what happens when we take *children* straight from COSAS and deploy them as leaders.

Malema still thinks he's a class prefect, thats why hes acting like this. But then, what can we say? Jacob Zuma would also do the exact same thing. By the way, how is his stand, yena, on this matter?? Seeing that the statement was about him in the first place.

 I echo Helen Zille's words.....

"Will the real Jacob Zuma please stand up!"

I also think Mbalula was the worst idiots of all. Politician agree with those who think Malema still need some grooming. Its no pap and vleis to be a politcian.  I am sure he selected those words out of impulse and too proud to apologise!

Artemis
24 Jun 2008 23:52

I must congratulate 3rd Degree for placing the ANC Youth League in the hot seat in last night's episode. Well done!
I agree, they should apologise. This is getting out of hand.

It is another typical "struggle" invention just to use it as an excuse to become the deliquants that they seem to be. For years
the "struggle" is to blame when they themselves neither experienced nor faced it. They are in Universities and riding cars even
MD's wish they can now drive.... no struggling over there.
I have met older black people who actually did struggle and they are the most friendliest and amazing people I have ever met.
Lovely people and proud to call them my friends.

What they should do is take these juveniles and send them to Iraq and fight in that war so they can get that frustration and fighting
spirit out of them once and for all. They are big on TV and in crowded conference rooms, lets see how they really are with an actual
war where lives are taken... since that is clearly what they want.

Cande

Well said Artemis.

25 Jun 2008 02:36

Artemis, what you are saying is so impractical and also out of ....... i don know waht.

What they should do is take these juveniles and send them to Iraq .

This statement is no different from "we will take up arms".

Nna I liked Vuyelwa.... and I dont think this whole thing needs to be dragged so much....

I mean, how long was Malema's speech, anyway??? What happened to everything else he said?
I we trying to say, out of everything he said at that rally, he didnt say anything else newsworthy??
