Coming up on O-Boma next week:
First up on Monday, March 17th is Ntumiseng who came to fame as a member of the reality television group 101 - but who is now breaking out with a self-titled pop album which shows that the girl from Welkom is now all grown up and ready to pursue a solo career.
Carmel’s your hostess on Tuesday, March 18th - she will be posing the question: what would you use your last ever phone call for?
Flamboyant dancer and artist Somizi is set to take over the O-Boma studio on Wednesday, March 19th - telling Nonhle about his controversial new track and dishing the goods on what’s going on in celebville.
Thursday, March 20th sees the musical action veer into more serious territory when Nigerian jazz artist Kunle Ayo is in the O-Boma studio, talking about his virtuosity on the guitar and being a jazz artist in Africa.
Then it’s Malatji’s turn - a longtime creative and live collaborator of Selaelo Selota. He has released a genuine “world music” debut album that has all the makings of a classic - this is his first time appearance on O-Boma.
On Friday, March 21st the O-Sessions are back. Two local emcees go head to head live and viewers decide who will be the MC King on the day.
