Kendall urges Bianca to look after a distraught Erica. Meanwhile, Erica visits Jack's jail cell and he almost reveals the truth about Bianca's pregnancy. Erica becomes further upset when Bianca questions if Erica would have denied Bianca's child had she not terminated her pregnancy. Erica goes to see Kendall. Erica imagines Kendall is Michael and is poised to stab Kendall.
Ryan catches Greenlee in Kendall's condo where Greenlee was trying to get photographic proof that Kendall isn't pregnant. Ryan takes Greenlee away and stuns her with the news of his and Kendall's engagement. Greenlee doesn't believe that Ryan truly loves Kendall. Greenlee asks Ryan to make love to her. Mia, thinking Aidan is having an affair with Kendall, follows him to the pump house. Mia is shocked when she walks into the house and finds Fred Lomax.

Kendall accuses Greenlee of deliberately bringing Fred to the courthouse to sabotage her defense. Greenlee is devastated when Ryan wants nothing more to do with her and ends their friendship. Aidan is angry at Mia for letting Fred escape from the pump house. On the witness stand, Fred makes a claim that will aid Livia to discredit Fred's testimony, which is stricken from the record. Angry over being shunned in favor of Kendall, Greenlee acts out in the courtroom, revealing a secret which may damager Kendall's defense.
Simone tells Tad and Juan Pablo how she accidentally fired a shot that hit a police car on the night of Michael's murder. Liza tells Simone that she and Tad are back together. Erica is unnerved when Jack explains how she suffered a blackout and tried to kill Kendall. Jack warns Erica not to go to Kendall's trial. Maggie and Jamie break into a limo and begin to make love.

After Greenlee's act, the judge refuses to grant a mistrial in Kendall's murder case. Greenlee doesn't understand why everyone is angry with her for exposing this truth and is shocked to realize that Jack and Ryan knew about this truth all along. Kendall accuses Ryan of betraying her. The recent turn of events in Kendall's trial leads Bianca to reveal her own secret to Erica.
Adam has Jamie and Maggie arrested for breaking into his limo. David calls Adam and insists he come to the cabin. David holds Adam at gunpoint.

Greenlee is angry that Jack kept the truth from her. Erica is overwhelmed when Bianca reveals her secret. Erica realizes Jack knew about this secret all along. Kendall accuses Ryan of conspiring with Greenlee against her. Ryan gives Kendall the chance to take back her accusation and walks out on her when she doesn't. Kendall finds Greenlee destroying the Fusion office.
Maria tries to convince Edmund not to consider having surgery as she believes his body will heal itself and he'll be able to walk again. Alone with Ryan, Maria admits she lied to Edmund and fears he will be in a wheelchair the rest of his life. David holds Adam at gunpoint, demanding Adam confess to killing Michael. Tad arrives and gets the gun away from David. Tad calls the police, claiming that either Adam or David killed Michael.

After kissing passionately, Kendall suddenly pulls away and asks Ryan why he left her. Ryan explains to Kendall why. Kendall becomes angry when Ryan mentions Michael. Derek and Justin overhear Kendall wishing that Ryan was dead. Adam tells Erica that he saw what she did on the night Michael disappeared. Aidan saves Lena from Derek's questioning. Aidan subtly questions Lena, who admits she wasn't at home the entire night when Michael disappeared.
Maggie accuses Aidan of trying to provide the police with as many suspects as possible in order to prevent them from bringing charges against anyone. Pablo pushes Greenlee away in order to protect her. Greenlee is hurt when Pablo accuses her of tipping off the reporters to Carlos' whereabouts. Jack makes it clear to Mary that he would never even consider getting back together with her.

Erica remains calm as she questions Jack as to why he didn't tell her about Bianca's pregnancy. Alone, Erica removes her engagement ring and casually sips a glass of brandy. Bianca urges Ryan not to turn his back on Kendall. Greenlee apologizes to Kendall for exposing her phony pregnancy in the courtroom.
Kendall challenges Greenlee to deny that she and Ryan were working together against her. Feeling that Kendall has no faith in Ryan, Greenlee fuels Kendall's fears and implies that she (Greenlee) and Ryan were plotting against Kendall.
Tad and David blackmail Adam into dropping the charges against Jamie and Maggie. Tad paints Adam and David as possible murder suspects to Livia. Alan suffers a heart attack during a heated encounter with Livia at the jail.

Erica bails Tad out of jail and tells him what she and David did on the night Michael was murdered. Greenlee is hurt by Mia and Simone's coldness towards her. Greenlee vows to David that she is going to make things right and later goes to see Bianca. Bianca is unnerved when she sees Lena wearing the same coat that she saw in her foggy memory of the night of the murder. Maggie returns home and tries to dismiss the kiss as nothing when Bianca questions her.
JR admits to Babe that he's beginning to agree with Adam that she isn't the woman he should be married to. Mary sees Babe stealing money from the Chandler safe. Jamie overhears Babe implying that Paul could be the father of her baby. Krystal refuses to back away from Tad even after Liza tells her that she and Tad are back together. Simone learns that Tad has been sleeping with Liza and Krystal.

Simone overhears Krystal and Liza discussing the fact that Tad has slept with all three of them. Liza and Krystal spar over Tad. Jamie jumps to the wrong conclusion and believes that Paul is blackmailing Babe. When JR sees the money in Babe's purse, Jamie comes to her rescue and creates a plausible story as to why Babe took the money from the safe.
Babe panics when JR wants to go to the hospital to have their blood drawn for a paternity test. Bianca can't bring herself to forgive an anguished Greenlee.
Meanwhile, Ryan goes to Kendall and professes his love for her as he tries to convince her marry him. Greenlee arrives and informs Kendall that Ryan wasn't working against her. Greenlee goes to the rocks where Leo died and ends up falling into an abandoned mineshaft. David goes to see Bianca, who fears her water has broken.

Kendall can't allow herself to fully trust Ryan and gives him back his engagement ring. Kendall later informs Aidan that she's is going to accept the plea bargain and go to jail in order to avoid a possible death sentence. David rushes Bianca to the hospital, where they encounter Babe and JR. JR is impressed when Babe tries to ease Bianca's fears. David assures Bianca that the crisis has passed and she and baby will be fine.
Jack worries about Erica as she refuses to let her feelings out. Erica refuses to see Bianca. Kendall overhears Erica admitting that she wishes Bianca would have lost the baby. Krystal confronts JR about his treatment of Babe. Babe decides to head to Llanview to convince Paul to help her no matter what. Still trapped in the abandoned mineshaft, Greenlee fears no one will come rescue her.

Erica, in denial, doesn't want to discuss Bianca's pregnancy with Kendall. Kendall pleads with Erica to love Bianca's baby and not look at the child as being evil. Kendall tells Erica that she is going to accept the plea bargain. Erica insists that Kendall not plead guilty to murder and hints that she has something planned.
After having a motorcycle accident, Ryan tosses his ring in the mind shaft and covers the hole leading to the mineshaft with a boulder, entombing Greenlee in the process. A sleeping Greenlee misses her chance of being rescued by Ryan. Lena voices her feeling that Maggie is acting strangely to Bianca, who doesn't tell Lena about Maggie kissing her. Edmund and Maria exchange Valentine's Day gifts in his hospital room and are very much in love.
