My Name is Earl premiered in South Africa on M-Net on Wednesday 28 June 2006, at 19h30. It later aired on DStv's M-Net Series channel and on e.tv. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 2

Earl and his quirky group of friends and relations return for a second season of balancing the forces of karma by righting the wrongs of Earl's List.

Season 1 ended with Earl crossing off the number 1 item on his list which read: "Stole $10 from a guy at the Camden Market". The same $10 he used to buy his winning lotto ticket that made him discover his destiny.

Across the first season Earl gathered 267 items for his list and by the end he'd successfully completed 36 of his tasks.

He was unsuccesful with a further five of his tasks, cleared of blame for two and one of them he decided he would leave on the list for forever so as never to forget that shouldn't do it. This final one was item #260: "Neglected Randy" which Earl vowed to never do again after neglecting him in a big way in Episode 7.

As this second season begins Earl has 221 items on his list and the first one he tackles as the season begins is #91: "Made Fun of Maggie Lester."
