Ambush (working title "Relentless") is a South African reality game show hosted by Rapulana Seiphemo in which each week two contestants complete five challenges in a 24-hour period for a chance to win up to R50,000, never knowing when they will be called into action, or "ambushed".
The series premieres on SABC1 on Saturday 23 October 2010, at 18h30. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 13 episodes in the first season.
Synopsis
Ambush is a reality game show where two contestants complete five challenges each during a 24-hour period in order to win up to R50,000.
Unlike any other reality game show, the contestants will not know when or where they will be ambushed and, the game show will start. The challenges will take place at any time, at any place, anywhere.
In each episode, two contestant's lives will be hijacked for 24 hours, in which they will have to complete five challenges each – all while going about their daily routine.
Challenges will come their way when they least expect them – morning, noon or in the middle of the night or while watching their favourite soap, attending a football game, or merely walking to work.
Contestants will have to expect the unexpected, because this is Ambush.
