Faking It is an American romantic comedy television series created by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov and developed by Carter Covington about two best friends who love each other - in slightly different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which launches them to instant celebrity status.
Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma Ashcroft and Amy Raudenfeld decide to keep up their romantic ruse.
While Karma is happy to keep up the lesbian charade and keep her affair with Liam a secret, she has not told Liam that she is faking it with Amy and - as time goes on - Amy starts to realise she may truly have feelings for Karma.
The series stars Katie Stevens as Karma, Rita Volk as Amy, Gregg Sulkin as Liam, Michael Willett as Shane and Bailey Buntain as Lauren.
Faking It was created by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov. The series is executive produced by Carter Covington (10 Things I Hate About You, Greek Hart of Dixie). The pilot was directed by Jamie Travis.
