Season 2
Episode 1
The four women of Society are reintroduced to everyone: Akua the workaholic, Inno the socialite weathergirl, Lois - now a working doctor and mother of one - and Beth, the happily in love lesbian.
Is the Society still going strong? What happened to Sipho, who held Inno hostage in the previous season? Has Lois's marriage survived the birth of their first baby?
Episode 2
It's Dineo's first birthday party, but with Lois working 24 hour shifts, will she make it to her own child's birthday?
Of course all the other ladies have their own issues - Akua gets serious about finding a man, Inno gets a subpoena from the court and the lovebirds Beth and Thuli get their feathers ruffled by an unexpected visitor.
Episode 3
Beth challenges her family to accepting her and Thuli, especially now that she's come out, but it's a task easier said than done. Meanwhile we see where Inno's really from, and it's not so glamorous - but family is family.
Akua finally takes a brave step into the treacherous terrain of dating while Lois struggles to accommodate her visiting mother in law.
Episode 4
Inno finally has to take the stand - the only question is whether her testimony will save her or bury her. Meanwhile Beth makes a big deal of meeting Thuli's parents.
Akua experiences every single girl's nightmare in the dating game but decides to remedy it with some retail therapy. Lois and Mandla's therapist suggests something drastic to repair their relationship.
Episode 5
It's Pride and the whole Society rallies behind Beth as she takes part in her first Pride. It's a splendid day, but not without its hiccups at first.
Lois and Mandla have an incident of miscommunication that leads to a decision being made, one with dire consequences, the kind of consequences Akua is dealing with after her impulsive decision in episode four.
Episode 6
Akua's courage to continue dating is revived when she meets a familiar-stranger on a night out. Beth's biggest fear about participating in Pride comes true and costs her her livelihood.
Meanwhile Lois finds someone to keep her company at work – Dr. Bennett. Inno's financial woes come to an end, at least temporarily.
Episode 7
Akua's truancy comes to haunt her at work and she has to make amends. Once the magazine article hits the stand, Inno's fear for the media wanes just enough for her to get burnt again.
Lois and Dr. Bennett go from being colleagues, to friends, to neighbours... what's next?
Thuli manages to get an extra hand, in the form of Buyi, to help Beth get her job back. The question is - does Beth want her job back?
Episode 8
Lois fears that she may have taken her quest for independence and individuality too far – discarding her family responsibilities.
Inno is once again media shy, but it's too late, as the exclusive article she did may have already jeopardized the trial... or has it?
Beth gets a settlement from her school for job, but will she take it? Akua's boss decides to send her to a head-doctor, with some interesting results, all in line with her declaration of calling this the year of saying “yes”.
Episode 9
While hosting some “girl children” at her office, Akua comes to a very drastic decision, something her mother wouldn't be happy about.
Being away from home begins to take its toll on Lois, causing her to visit home a lot more than she used to.
Sentencing is heard in Inno's trial, and justice is served - just not in the way Inno had envisioned it. Beth is back at work, but how long will she last under such incredible scrutiny?
Episode 10
Lois decides to move back home, her new neighbour Dr. Bennett isn't so happy to hear about it. Thuli decides to break some bad to news to Beth, news which they might never recover from.
Inno finds herself falling right back into her same old tricks, but this time with an unhealthy dose of paranoia.
Meanwhile Akua makes one more error in judgment as if her year of saying yes hasn't caused enough problems already.
Episode 11
Inno's situation worsens, and desperate times calls for desperate acts – but in Inno's case it's a lot more dramatic than the average.
Beth starts her new job and new life as single gal, easier said than done for someone who's never dated in the lesbian scene.
Akua deals with the consequences of her year of saying yes, and has to show a little restraint. Meanwhile Lois bids her mother in law good bye as she takes charge of her household again.
Episode 12
Beth finds the courage to finally bid her students good-bye and to also put herself out as an out of the closet, single and ready to mingle.
Inno comes to the realization that her loan shark is just that - a shark - and she is his bait or in this case, a mule.
Lois has to somehow wean Dr. Bennett off of her, while making sure that Mandla doesn't find out about their secret liaison. Akua makes a purchase that will haunt her for some time to come.
Episode 13
Beth is woken up by some shocking news – Thuli has been hurt. Just when Akua feels as if she cannot say yes to one more person, someone appears and presents an offer that's very hard to refuse.
Inno tries to hide out her mother's house in Soweto, wishing her problems away. Lois's blissful home life is intruded upon by lies and not just hers.
