Tuesday, 1 July 2008Episode 8702 Amber asks Kevin for a job at the coffeehouse. At the psych ward, Michael is suspicious of Jana's behaviour. Maggie and Paul wonder who William was protecting by doing a secret DNA test. Daniel asks Nick to reinstate him at Newman, but Neil intervenes.
Amber begs for Cane's forgiveness. Cane makes love to Amber, then rejects her because of her past actions. Jack confronts Sharon for planning a trip to Clear Springs with Nick. Kevin tells Michael that he's selling the coffeehouse to pay for Jana's surgery.
Paul and Maggie flirt, leading to a kiss. Karen shows Neil some kick-boxing moves at the gym. At the memorial, Gloria gives a touching speech about William. Gloria is shocked when a man arrives who looks exactly like William.
Wednesday, 2 July 2008 Episode 8703 Jeff Bardwell introduces himself to Gloria as William's twin brother. Jeff gives a moving testament about William. Ji Min and Jill decide to start their own company together.
Lily and Cane pretend to flirt in front of Amber and Daniel. Kay offers Ji Min a bribe to leave town, but he angrily refuses, and Kay fires him. Ji Min tells Jill that he was fired from Jabot because he wouldn't leave her. Daniel tells Lily that he won't contest their annulment. Jill lashes out at Kay for trying to pay Ji Min to leave her.
Jill threatens Kay that she will try to find Phillip's mother and tell her what Kay did. Lauren, Michael and Gloria speculate about Jeff's true intentions.
Thursday, 3 July 2008 Episode 8704 Lily admits to Devon that she has been crying about her split from Daniel. Gloria tells Michael she plans to charm Jeff into revealing his past. Lily asks Devon to set her up on a date with one of his friends.
Cane announces that unless he receives money to clean up the methane at Clear Springs, he will shut down construction. Neil asks Devon to pay special attention to Lily. Jack and Cane argue about the methane problem in Clear Springs.
Nick tells Sharon that he feared Phyllis might run away with Summer. On their date, Jeff tells Gloria that he spent a lot of time in Third World jails. Daniel asks Jack for a job, and says he wants to turn his life around. Nick and Sharon are trapped in a bank vault while scouting a photo shoot location.
Friday, 4 July 2008 Episode 8705 Devon pretends that none of his friends are available to date Lily. Sharon and Nick share a passionate kiss in the bank vault, but Sharon stops Nick from going any further. Sharon and Nick are lying close together when the vault is opened.
Cane tells Katherine that he will shut down production at Clear Springs if no one pays to fix the methane problem. Victoria is furious when Victor refuses to give Nikki a loan for Clear Springs. Victor tells Michael and Neil that he does not mind his family's anger over denying Nikki a loan.
Nick and Sharon tell Jack that they were trapped in the vault, but they don't tell him about their kiss. Devon is annoyed when Lily sets up a date for herself. Cane tells Nikki that he had to stop construction at Clear Springs due to lack of funding. Victor tells Neil that he plans to start drilling for minerals at Clear Springs.
Monday, 7 July 2008 Episode 8706 Gloria buys expensive gifts for Michael, Lauren and Kevin. Nikki pleads with Kay to convince Cane to change his mind about stopping construction at Clear Springs. Michael learns that Phyllis' verdict will be announced today. Nick and Michael try to convince Phyllis not to skip town with Summer.
Kevin is upset when Jana begins to slur her words while he is visiting her. Kay tells Nikki that she'll finance construction at Clear Springs for one week. Phyllis calls Jack and tells him she has decided to run away with Summer, and Sharon overhears.
Kevin threatens Gloria that if she refuses to pay for Jana's surgery, he will tell the police she tainted the Jabot cream. Gloria agrees to pay for Jana's surgery if Kevin will spy on Jeffrey. Michael tries to persuade the judge to hold Phyllis' verdict until tomorrow. Nikki tells Victor she will use her marital assets as collateral for a loan.
Tuesday, Episode 8 July 2008 Episode 8707 The judge warns Michael that he has one hour to bring Phyllis to court. Phyllis enters the courtroom at the last minute. In the courtroom, the lead juror says that they haven't yet reached a verdict, as one of the jurors just changed their mind.
At Victoria's exam, J.T. learns the sex of her baby. Cane asks Amber to sign a document that invalidates their marriage. Kay warns Amber never to talk to her family again.
Michael makes a deal with Heather for Phyllis to spend a year in jail. Phyllis is angry to learn that Daniel has been fired from Newman. Phyllis confronts Nick, who tells her that Daniel was fired for breaking the law.
Sharon reveals to Brad that she kissed Nick. Carson offers to help Amber find the missing money. Brad ruins Victoria's surprise by telling her the baby is a boy. Phyllis tells Michael that she wants to take her chances with the jury.
Wednesday, 9 July 2008 Episode 8708 Phyllis is found guilty of blackmailing Brad. The judge tells Phyllis that she can be free on bail until her sentencing. Neil, Devon and Lily celebrate Phyllis' jail sentence as payback for Dru's death.
Devon reminisces about the day that Dru adopted him. Lily is unsympathetic when Daniel tells her Phyllis could get five years in prison. Noah angrily blames Sharon for Phyllis being found guilty.
Brad tells Heather that Phyllis was late to court because she thought of leaving town. Phyllis cries to Nick that she fears going to jail.
Thursday, 10 July 2008 Episode 8709 Ben warns Jack that he's dropping in the polls because of his friendship with Phyllis. Kevin tells Jana that Gloria has agreed to pay for her brain surgery. Jana tells Kevin she wants him to have power of attorney in case something goes wrong in surgery.
Michael tells Nick and Phyllis that Heather knows Phyllis tried to run away. Sharon admits to Jack that she told Brad about Phyllis nearly leaving town. Jack gives an interview to the Phyllis' probation officer. Phyllis accidentally reveals the wig she was hiding during her interview with the probation officer.
Jana learns her surgery may either save her life or kill her. Heather finds an airline security camera photo of Phyllis attempting to buy a ticket out of the country.
Friday, 11 July 2008Episode 8710 Adrian returns from Prague and tells Brad he visited Kutna Hora. Noah is upset when Phyllis' bail is revoked and she must return to the courthouse. Adrian gives Colleen an antique necklace he bought for her in Prague. Colleen realizes that Brad donated a painting to the museum in exchange for them not hiring Adrian.
Daniel tries to lift Noah's mood by taking him to play basketball. Jana apologizes to Colleen and Adrian for the bad behaviour caused by her brain tumour. The judge allows Phyllis to stay free on bail with a monitoring device until her sentencing.
Colleen confronts Brad about bribing the Paris museum to rescind Adrian's job offer. Jana tells Adrian that Brad has been living under a false identity.
Monday, 14 July 2008 Episode 8711 Colleen lashes out at Brad for ruining Adrian's career opportunity. Kevin asks Gloria for advice about Jana's power of attorney and her life-threatening surgery. Adrian questions the validity of Jana's information about Brad. Jack takes Sharon on a scavenger hunt to lift her spirits.
Colleen confirms to Adrian that Brad's real last name is Kaplan, and gives him permission to write about her family. Jana tells Kevin that she wants to be kept alive if something goes wrong during surgery. The scavenger hunt leads Sharon to find plane tickets to France.
Nick and Phyllis discover Summer has a fever. Logan tells Brad she is leaving Genoa City to take a job with Doctors without Borders. Nick begins to warm toward Phyllis as he watches her with Summer.
Tuesday, 15 July 2008 Episode 8712 Kevin asks Michael to find a way to move up the date for Jana's surgery. David and Nikki flirt while working on the Clear Springs project. Ji Min worries that Jill's animosity toward Kay is clouding her judgment. Phyllis decides to spend the last day before her sentencing with Nick, Daniel and Summer.
Jill quizzes Jack about Ji Min, and Jack causes her to question her trust in Ji Min. Kay tells Michael she wants to amend her will to disinherit Jill. Nikki is furious when Daniel loses an important report, causing her to lash out at Daniel, Jack and Phyllis.
Colleen advises Adrian not to tell Brad about his book. Jana asks Adrian to let Colleen take care of Kevin if anything happens to her during surgery. Nick scolds Nikki for her treatment of Phyllis and Daniel. Phyllis and Daniel spend quality mother-son time together.
Wednesday, 16 July 2008 Episode 8713 Kay advises Cane on how to deal with Victor. Sharon tries to reassure Noah that Phyllis will be okay in jail. Jill admits to Cane that Katherine may have been right about Ji Min's guilt. Sharon confesses to Neil that she may be falling back in love with Nick.
Cane announces that he will halt construction at Clear Springs if no one will provide money to clean up the methane. Nikki reveals that she has obtained a loan from Victor to clean up Clear Springs. Jill questions Ji Min, who admits he was involved in the Jabot scandal.
Phyllis warns Jack that if she goes to jail, Nick will pursue Sharon. Nick questions Victor's motives for loaning money to Nikki. Upset about Ji Min's betrayal, Jill calls off their engagement. Victor warns Neil that his drilling rights in Clear Springs must be kept secret. Phyllis tells Nick that if she is sentenced to any jail time, she wants a divorce.
Thursday, 17 July 2008 Episode 8714 Nick reassures Phyllis that if she is sent to jail, he will not divorce her. At Phyllis' request, Jack agrees to come to her sentencing. At the hearing, Brad, Nikki, Neil and Lily give statements against Phyllis. Daniel and Nick speak to the judge on Phyllis' behalf.
Jack loses his cool when a reporter questions him at the hearing. Victoria berates Nick for his speech in court. Phyllis gives a heartfelt statement to the judge, showing her remorse.
At the last minute, Noah gives a positive statement about Phyllis. Sharon surprises everyone by speaking in defence of Phyllis.
Friday, 18 July 2008 Episode 8715 Sharon worries whether she did the right thing in testifying for Phyllis. Phyllis apologizes to Neil for what happened to Dru, but he coldly rejects her. Kevin is frustrated at being unable find a doctor to perform Jana's surgery.
Victoria is upset that Noah and Sharon spoke in defence of Phyllis. Neil, Lily and Devon are angry that Sharon testified on Phyllis' behalf. Phyllis asks Michael and Lauren to care for Summer if she is sent to prison. The doctor tells Jana and Kevin about the risks of her brain surgery.
At dinner, Victoria reveals to Nikki that she is going to have a baby boy. Phyllis thanks both Noah and Sharon for their positive statements in court. Jana goes into convulsions and the nurses try to stabilize her.
Sharon seeks out Neil to explain why she spoke out for Phyllis. Adrian asks Colleen to move in with him. Nick takes Phyllis in his arms and passionately kisses her.
Monday, 21 July 2008Episode 8716 Gloria reminds Kevin that Jana was lucid when she tried to kill him. Judge Chong sentences Phyllis to the maximum penalty of six years in jail. Noah angrily confronts Brad and Sharon about their affair. Jana panics as she is about to be taken into surgery. Nikki and Phyllis argue about Summer.
Michael vows not to rest until he finds a way to reduce Phyllis' sentence. At the hospital, Brad offers to make amends with Colleen. Paul offers to help Heather on Kevin's case. Noah announces that he wants to live with Nick. Nick warns Nikki not to criticize Phyllis in front of Summer. Kevin tries to keep Jana calm during her brain surgery as her EEG begins to spike.
Tuesday, 22 July 2008 Episode 8717 Jana continues to have seizures as doctors complete her surgery. Heather offers Amber a deal to testify against Daniel and Kevin. Jack tells a reporter that he thinks Phyllis' sentence is too harsh.
Amber tells Michael that she refused to take Heather's deal. Colleen tells Amber that Daniel and Kevin paid back their share of the money. Kevin is ecstatic as Jana begins to speak after her surgery. Nick, Phyllis, Daniel and Noah play basketball at the GCAC.
Ji Min tries to apologize to Jill by giving her a rare book, but she doesn't accept it. Amber asks Gloria for a loan to pay back her share of the stolen money, but Gloria refuses.
Colleen accuses Amber of knowing where the stash of money is. Amber borrows a $100 bill from Ji Min, wondering if he stole the money. Jill tells Ji Min that she'll take him back if he goes public with the Jabot scandal.
Wednesday, 23 July 2008 Episode 8718 Nick, Phyllis, Noah, Daniel and Summer have a last barbeque together. Victor and Jack stop by to say goodbye to Phyllis before she leaves for jail. Jill tells Kay that Ji Min that she asked Ji Min to go public about Jack owning Jabot.
Kay is surprised by Victor's calm reaction when she tells him that Ji Min plans to expose the Jabot scandal. Amber asks Daniel to help her search online for information about counterfeit money.
Jill tells Ji Min she is proud of him for standing up to Kay and Victor, and they begin to kiss. Noah locks his dog Fisher in the closet because he was bad. Nick and Phyllis kiss and start to make love.
Thursday, 24 July 2008 Episode 8719 Carson distracts Amber and takes the $100 bill from her purse. Kay tries to convince Jill to stop Ji Min's interview. Amber tells Kay her theory that Ji Min stole the missing money.
Fearing Summer is ill, Phyllis refuses to report to jail. Amber confronts Carson for stealing the $100 bill and he suggests they search for the missing money together.
Kay encourages Amber to investigate whether Ji Min took the money. Nikki and David discuss the possible fall-out from Ji Min's impending interview. David tries to convince Jack to confess to owning Jabot before Ji Min's interview.
Jill is unaware as Ji Min hides the stolen money in an air vent. David comforts Nikki as she worries that Victor was right about her business abilities.
Friday, 25 July 2008Episode 8720 Phyllis refuses to report to prison while Summer is sick. Amber tells Carson that she needs to prove Ji Min stole the missing money. Jack worries that he will lose his Senate seat if Ji Min comes clean about Jabot. Kay asks Cane to convince Jill to get Ji Min to cancel the press conference.
David suggests that Nikki make her separation from Victor legal. Karen learns that Jack has caused Newman Enterprises to lose a multi-million dollar contract. Jack tells Sharon that he will threaten to evict Ji Min's family unless he cancels the interview.
Phyllis is arrested at the hospital while waiting for the results of Summer's tests. Cane and Jack each call Ji Min to ask to speak to him before the interview. Logan tells Nick and Michael that Summer has a serious respiratory infection. Jill is shocked to find Amber standing over Ji Min's body.
Monday, 28 July 2008 Episode 8721 Daniel tells Jack about Summer's illness. In jail, Phyllis is frustrated that she is unable to get news of Summer's condition. Panicked, Amber calls Michael and tells him about discovering Ji Min's dead body.
Cane and Kay try to comfort a devastated Jill. Amber tells Heather that she suspects Ji Min stole the missing money. Phyllis is upset when she calls Michael and learns he doesn't have any news about Summer.
Jill collapses when she sees the coroner taking Ji Min's body away. Logan tells Nick that Summer's fever has broken. Phyllis secretly places a call to Nick and is caught by the warden.
Tuesday, 29 July 2008 Episode 8722 Cane and Kay offer Jill support over Ji Min's death. Victor, Nikki and David learn that Ji Min has died. David warns a reporter not to print the information he provided about Ji Min. The doctor tells Jana and Kevin that Jana's surgery was a success.
Jill lashes out at Jack when he and Sharon offer condolences for Ji Min's death. Colleen gives a depressed Jana a make-over in the psych ward. Colleen and Kevin are puzzled by Jana's behavior. Maggie reports that Ji Min died by suffocating from a crushed larynx. Jill wonders if Amber killed Ji Min.
Wednesday, 30 July 2008 Episode 8723The prison guard tells Phyllis that she's on restricted rules and can't use the phone. Michael agrees to take Nick and Noah to visit Phyllis in jail. Kay tries to stop from Jill talking to a reporter about Jack and Ji Min. Nikki and Jack agree to stick together on their stories regarding Ji Min.
At the prison, Nick pretends to be one of Phyllis' lawyers so that he can see her. Victor plays innocent when Jill confronts him about the secret tape of Jack and Ji Min. The reporter tells Jill she is dropping the story about Ji Min because no one will corroborate Jill's claims.
The prison warden kicks Nick out after learning he is Phyllis' husband. Jack and Sharon are stunned as the tape of Jack admitting he owned Jabot is played on a television newscast. Victor watches the newscast, smiling.
Thursday, 31 July 2008 Episode 8724 Jack tells a blindsided Sharon that he knew about the tape. Victoria is hurt to realise that Nikki has known about Jack's ownership of Jabot for months. Katherine questions whether Jill engineered the release of the tape. Jack and Nick exchange harsh words when Nick arrives to pick up Noah.
Nick covers for Jack when Noah asks questions about the Jabot scandal. Jack makes Nikki realise that Victor was behind the release of the tape. Nikki confronts Victor about releasing the tape, and becomes upset when he ignores their anniversary. Kay suggests to Michael, Nikki and Victoria that they hold a press conference.
Sharon advises Jack to come clean for Noah's sake. Nick and Sharon clash when Nick says he wants to keep Noah away from Jack. At the press conference, Jack announces that the recording is a fake. Lauren must leave town after learning that her mother has broken her hip.
