Skin problems can run for one's entire life if not attended.

Some teenagers even condemn themselve for having a bad skin or an irritated skin
Some people even experience a drop in their confidence

                                         vic have some problems olrite!!

I need to know what you are using on your face to keep it free from black spots, pimples and all sorts of problems such as oilyness

I have a small problem, it is my chin. it gets crackedall the time
sometimes  Iget pimples and I cant help it but squeeze

I never get a lot at one time, maybe one and then i scartch and squeeze it and get another one.

Smetimes my forehead gets too oily I dont know how to treat it
i exfoliate but then o kare ka oketsa. I shine like someone was doing kiwi shine on my forehead

maybe Brit ne a shaya ke stress too much mo or ke "see how it runs" i donno

Even though I use make up, I dont do it all the time
Only when attending a seriuos dos

which products are good for oily skin?

The other problem I am facing is an irritated skin on my back
this prooblem i have had since my teenage years
I have tried bathing with and applying aqueous cream, maybe i was too impatient
but according to me it did not work
I also used Bio Oil, it was lightening my skin and with time the problem started again

If you know a good dermatologist in Pretoria, please give me their details
Its about time I pay them a visit

Do?did you have asimilar problem?

I shine like someone was doing kiwi shine on my forehead >>>kwa kwa kwaaaa!

sometimes i think it can be caused by changing things that you use on your face every now & then. What im using on my face, i started using it when i was 15 years old & stuck with it!

I had a very oily skin and I tried all sorts of products until I tried the Justine Oil Control, they work for me. Also drinking a lot of water & eating plenty of fruits & veges does wonders for the skin.

OMG Cheesa ! where did you see me? *thinking* am i being stalked? LOL

yeah Holiday you are very right, di skin tsa batho ga di tshwane, they react differently to different products. but still its not wise to use "A product "face wash,  "B product" to tone & 'C product" to vanish, at the same time lol  or maybe use A product for 2weeks & then change to C products... and ladies you must avoid things that change your skin complexion, ijo!

sweety go to a dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis, in some cases you'll find that it's an internal problem and u can treat it accordingly

trying out different products won't help you at all, my cousin had the same problem and she's sorted now, at least she's applying the right products for her skin

I can't help on the face issue, got my own facial issues and i know none of the products mentioned here can help. I also get some pimples on my right chick a few days before the red robot, so i know the casue of mine. The spots eventualy clear up on their own and then appear next month....*sigh*

As for the back, i also have the same problem and i know its caused by labels, they irritate my back skin and i ned up with pimples so i cut off labels. Otherwise, u shud also exfoliate the back once in a while, the back skin has fine hair so it secretes some sweat which can also lead to a breakout.

Hi blu

Unusual for me to be posting on a story like this, but I have much personal experience with your problem, or acne to be specific.

When I was a teenager my face was covered in pimples - very nasty. I spent years walking around embarrassed, with a face-full of spots. Needless to say I never got the girl.

When I went to varsity I was staying in Gardens in Cape Town, and down the road from me lived the village idiot, so to speak - a rather mentally challenged man who was very pleasant but who was crazy as a bird.

One day he came up to me of his own accord and told me he could see I had a problem with my skin, and that he had the solution. Naturally I thought he was talking kak, but I humoured him anyway to find out what he had to say.

He told me that the way to cure it was to wash my face with nothing but water. No soaps or lotions at all - just plain water. He told me it would go away in no time.

I left as fast as I could, thinking he was out of his mind, but that night his words came back to me and I decided to give it a try. What did I have to lose?

I washed my face with nothing but water and kept doing that for a few days. Within a week - less that a week - my acne was gone forever. It has never returned, and I still don't wash my face with anything but water.

That village idiot knew a thing or two. The best thing? It's free. And it works. That picture of Britney above is nothing compared to what my skin was like, yet now I haven't had a pimple in 15 years.

When all other suggestions fail, give it a shot. You might be pleasantly surprised.

WOW Luke that's the greatest advice. Mina I just use dove soap and then apply Nivea face and body cream all over. It has worked for me. No spots unless I try use other products like Placecol......... Tjo that thing ruined my skin

Storm thank you, will consider it
Luke it does not work for me. sebum forms quickly. and it will be too greasy. but like you said when all fails me i might consider it

Eish guys my skin has been crazy ever since i can remember - i really don't remember my skill with out pimples (i only see in my childhood photos that i once didn't have pimples...like when i was 14yrs old...after that i had pimples that goes away when i try a product and once the skin get used to the products the pimples come back

i've tried the cuticura, sea shells (some crazy idiot like yours Luke) told me to use them sea shells at night then just wash my face with just water and not put anything and it worked just for a while and after that the pimples come back again, i've used garnier cuticura soap & ointment whn they started & my mom said (its b/z of ukufikisa) but they've never really gone away...also used garner 3 in 1, claris, almost everything and now i've given up, and when am ready visit a dermatologist  (guess am not in a hurry b/z the pimples are not like Brit's so i can cover them with make up)... i think i will try considering what you did Luke

Yardley s oatmeal for blackheads (R59 clicks) is the best, ur skin will feel like a baby s bum in no time. Also try splashing cold water on ur face after u hv washed it. Apparently it s best to cleans, exfolliate nd moisturize. They reckon toner does zilch 4 ur skin. Am a ho when it comes to skin products...currently using Elizaberth Arden Intervene and 8hr cream range, loreal nd ambi things. The intervene cleanser irritates my skin cause it is scented...luv its day, night nd eye creams. I also hv a problem with black spots on my right cheek nd on my back..clinique powder-makeup helps to cover them up..should also get avon bronzer
