Inside scoop on SAMAs 2009

The SAMAS were an interesting occasion to observe the so called Whos Who of the entertainment industry. I simply love noting human behaviour and this was an occasion not to be missed. So I rocked up there in all my arbitary journalistic glory and silently took notes in my mind.
Here is what I saw, take it or leave it!
(The we is I and my tight friend)
Right next to where we were waiting for our tickets was the goodie bag room, now we told ourselves that seeing Schlebs recieving goodies is not NEWS!
So we watched Tbo Touch, Tansey Coetzee(who really doesn't want 2 be forgotten) and DA LES walk past us. & we saw Phila of Live and Karabo of Generations walk past too.
Hayi ke u Tbo touch looks like any guy from the ekasi no presence at all, but DA LES is tall and tooo American for my liking.
Its time to make my way to the hotel rooms to refresh and right outside our rooms I see Nhlanhla Nciza in a black convertible Megane driving up with hubby who drives a 3 series BMW. Then we see the whole YOTV kiddies crew run past.
All the while Black diamonds are pulling up in fly rides(Audis, Beemers, land rovers etc) and braaing and chilling with their ladies and groupies.
So we bath and get ready to leave. We are out of the house by seven. When we get there the yellow carpet is full of paparazzi and sponsored cars dropping celebs off. Damn! Its lights everywhere and fans screaming.
We sneak via the other entrance coz the carpet is hectic joh!
We get in and make our way straight to the pre drinks area and where us journos can mingle and take pics of celebs.
Cleo was there with a huge attitude and bright gay pink looking shirt, uStoan looked lost without wifey(very lonely) Skanks take note!
So did Theo , he too was alone.
U Mmabatho Monthso is so short and tiny she wore a boring looking cream dress. Cassandra from City press is so short and fat! She looked like a furry baby tiger in a tiger print dress! U Kelly put too much makeup I must say. She looked like a doll. Then Khanyi storms in with a tiny black dress.
Damn was I scared she would collapse at any minute She resembled a dried piece of biltong so skinny! She loves attention! Other schlebs walk past and go seat themselves. So its time for us to go too.
The awards ceremony went by fast the performances were awesome! My best highlights were Theo's performance and Brickz acceptance speech. Jah talk about tension hey!
Now for more low down!
Bonang was with Dj Sbu on the dance floor engaging in a karma sutra dance. They looked like they wanted to have sex right there and then! So Dj Sbu takes her by the nand and they leave the afterparty for????? Only they know......
Kelly Khumalo was with Emphymol.
Khanyi was with a gay dude they held hands all evening. She wore a tracksuit with boots to the after party!
Phila was with Tumi from Yotv they kept on calling each other 'baby' how sweet! not....They also attempted to match their outfits which was quite immature if you ask me.
Moving along ….......................
Hlomhla Dandala and Candy were supposedly together but they were not even seen once holding hands or talking! Jah ne, trouble in paradise perhaps?(I stand to be corrected)
Pepsi Pokane and Machere are a fine couple altho i think he deserves a hotter wife!
Dj Tira was busy organising parties for groupies the whole nite! He is such a cheat.
Prosper was there with Miriam Ngomane, she has a lovely bod but was underdressed in nothing but a sorry excuse for a dress up to her bum cheeks! Those two are dating!
Slikour was alone the whole night, so was Sizwe Dhlomo(so fine)
Andile is officially a has been. He was making calls the whole night while walking up and down, he was even in the after party ticket queue waiting like everybody else!
Shugasmaxx has a funny body, love handles on a man are a no no!
The YOTV crew were so drunk, they couldn't even walk properly it was so sad(they should ban underage drinking!) Akunzi and Karabo, ya'll are no rolemodels for anybody's kids!
The usual celebs were just chilling, Black Coffee, Zamajobe, Uyanda Mbuli, Siya(left early) Nhlanhla, and others.
Ishmael and Puff Johnson are really dating, she could be seen doing ingwazi and the Durban Vuma.
Lungelo has an old looking wife. She also looks dry and too skinny.
One thing I cannot stand about the entertainment industry is the fakeness of it all! Some schlebs are so sweet and humble they realise that their fans put them there how else would they eat if it were not for the masses buying their cds?
Lira is one such person, and so is Yvonne Chaka Chaka she is so modest and humble. Suprisingly Kelly is also quite nice and GI are just the best! Rhythmic Elements are kind characters and so are Jaziel Brothers.
Sizwe Dhlomo has an ego the size of the Ozone layer Dj Cleo included. Khanyi is obsessed with the media and her own 'fabolousness'.
I found Dj Sbu and Pastor Mbobho extremely annoying. Why does this man mock the word of God and what it stands for? Aaargh, his little priest outfits are extremely cheesy! Not to mention that voice.
Terry Pheto was no where to be seen and this leads one to think that Sbu found solace in Bonang.
Strange enough, Bonang is no attention seeker although upclose she looks different from tv.(She should really appreciate her makeup artist!)
Oh well, I could go on and on but too little space and too much to say!

Well Karabo is still in high school (i think) so if she was drunk, then shem that's not being a role model. These afterparties should have a "no under 21" restriction.
So SunCity can now be called SinCity!! Mr. Kezner - replace the "U" with "I"!!

Guys Sizwe (even though he ain't talking to me no more) is really NOT a bad person man, he's just different, let's accept him for what he is.

The YOTV crew were so drunk, they couldn't even walk properly it was so sad(they should ban underage drinking!) Akunzi and Karabo, ya'll are no rolemodels for anybody's kids! AKZ must hit the gym and tone down, he is too loud 4 my liking.Kabz must do sumthing about that hair!!!!!!!
