The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is looking to hire an Events Manager to manage events for the organisation.

Position: Events Manager (Fixed Term Contract)
Reporting to: Acting Head: Marketing and Public Affairs
Job Purpose: To ensure effective and smooth execution of events
Key Responsibilities:
- High level organisation and coordination of events to maximise NFVF exposure
- Responsible for the NFVF’s 10 year anniversary project
- Liaise with members of the industry and stakeholders
- Provide efficient support to the Acting Head of Marketing & Public Affairs
- Provide efficient service and advise to members of the industry and stakeholders
- Perform any other relevant duties required
Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in events management and/or marketing
Requirements:
- Relevant events coordination experience at a high level
- Ability to work on several projects at the same time
- Sound understanding of all processes involved in events coordination
- Adaptability and attention to detail
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
- Computer literacy
- Planning and work well under pressure
- Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Project management skills and effective team player
