Laf'Elihle Kakhulu - Isidingo

Or maybe it's finally exposed that it was never good - it's repetition of story and same beat characters, eg. their super one-dimentional character Cherel

The problem with Isidingo is that Cherel is just straight bad. How many people are like that in real life? She doesn't have friends or family that she protects at all costs. I am a no. 1 fan of Isidingo and never miss an episode but Cherel (and soon Benjamin too) gets to me. Even Stefano Dimera (of Days) has a family that benefits from his evil proceeds.

If Cherel tried to bring back her son as well as Rajesh (by hook or by crook) to build her family it might make her a bit more realistic. Many women (and men) do this because it is natural to want to have a family. I must say if Isidingo doesn't make Cherel a bit more human I might get fed up with it. Barker has a son that is actively part of his life and that make him human and that makes us relate to him.

TO BE HONEST I STILL BATTLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT MONTANA GOT HIGHER RATINGS THAN RHYTHM CITY BUT HEY ....

I personallly think Isidingo's biggest mistake was their change of time-slots from 18:30 to 19:30. This is a problem because they now have to compete with a show that doesn't have omnibus (Scandal) , as compared to Rhythm City which repeats on weekends.Even shows that are repeating for the 10000th time on SABC 1,as well as that lame generations are scoring more viewers than Isidingo because people (such as myself) would rather watch the Zulu news or scandal during the week and chill to the super-fantastic omnibus on sunday morning.Big mistake by Isidngo..
