SCD: Dingaan Should NOT Have Been Whacked

EPISODE FIVE

WTF? I'm fuming at how unfair it is. I've been very patient and accepted it when people go on about how this show's definitely about who dances best and that the ones with the most potential should stay blah blah.

I've sacrificed both my faves Baby Jakes and the Feeesh to accepting this popular point of view as being how the show works and I wouldn't have a problem with it if it all remained consistent but this week suddenly everything's changed and now it's fine that it's working a different way and the worst gets to stay?!

Can you pleease explain how it's possible that Dingaan's gone? I'm sorry but there's just nooo ways Riaan's a better dancer than him. I know Dingaan and Phemelo weren't in top form this week but even so when they wax their stuff Dingaan always looks soo much better and more comfy than Riaan on the dancefloor.

To me Riaan's been the James Dalton of the series from the start and while he manages to get steps right, a dancer has to cut and strike particular lines and shapes that are visually pleasing on the eye - which Riaan just doesn't. Watching him feels like listening to a singer who can stay in tune but who's voice sucks.

The judges think Dingaan's better too which means it's all the fault of the voting audience who've decided it's fine to unfairly change the ethos of the voting up until now by getting rid of one of the best.

Jeannie D's shocked expression when she got saved suggested she thought the results were very wrong too  - except in relation to herself obviously.

Her and Anthony managed to up their game but it wasn't enough to make it out of the bottom two - which they deserved - espesh after what Tyrone so accurately said about her not letting the fiery Portuguese part of her nature take hold of her. I was interested to see how ridiculously self-conscious she was about the sexy gear she had on because of what her parents would think.

See - this is the problem with parents and trying to please them and not being yourself as a result. She's got a belly-ring which means she has no issues with her belly area but her parents do and now she has to suffer their yawny burden too.

In contrast Tamara and her proud display of her enviously voluptuous boobs doesn't care what they think and expresses herself more each week. I thought her Oscar speech was overdone but still, I think it happened because she didn't know how else to respond to all glowing praise.

Her and Brandon have put themselves into a prime position to be top contenders for the win and if her and him and Freedom and Mary aren't the top two I'll stop watching. That's what I've decided after this recent turn of events - I was convinced that Dingaan and Phemelo would be with them in the top three and now it's clear anything can happen and you don't actually have to be the best to do well.

The announcement of it was all made even worse coming after the torture of the Ian von Memerty entertainment. How out of the ark is that particular kind of singing he does? And more specifically - what is it exactly?

His presenter-type is a trademark of this show across the world for some bizarre reason I don't understand. The UK version has some moustached dude who's supposed to be a national treasure who needs such a slap you have noo idea and the one in the US is hosted by that twangy, cheesy piece of work who hosted the finale of The Apprentice II. You might not remember who he was but trust me when I tell you he was baaad.

As for Sandy going on about SMS's only costing R2 - it's annoying me a lot. In fact I've started noticing it happening more and more where instead of just giving the price of an SMS shows are condescendingly trying to make it sound like a bargain. Puhlease.

I'm not impressed with any of it - except for that Kinders In Die Wind song - it was okayish I suppose but it didn't come close to making up for everything else that was totally rubbish.
