Yay! I'm feeling relieved because I now have two favourite Survivors on
South Pacific.
There's something about knowing who you're rooting for that's very calming - I feel highly unsettled when I don't.
Who are they? Jim and Albert most definitely. I thought both of them were very super on Monday's episode (14th). Jim's always been super because of the sense he gives that he's hiding a bong somewhere but that we'd never know it.
He doesn't look as if he sells marijuana yet we know he does, which suggests he's probably his own customer but doesn't look like a stoner. He's clearly a master of disguise and has a lot of entertaining things to say.
As for Albert ... yum!! I hardly noticed him the first few weeks but suddenly there he is, looking gorge. I'm thinking one of the dating courses he runs must be titled: "How to catch a hottie like me."
A Dating Coach ... ? Do you know what it is? I don't have a clue. I'm assuming he does one-on-one sessions with people to give them tips on flirting, etiquette, pashing (passionate kissing) etc.
At first Albert's profession put me off because I thought he might be a con-man but it's not a problem anymore because I've agreed with everything he's had to say on the show so far.
He's 100% correcto, it's much better to go into the merge with the numbers instead of the loyalty of a minority few. There are so many other factors that can come into play if you end up being the smaller tribe at the merge. It's a much better strategic move to keep the numbers,
no matter what.
Which Benjy (the Roach formerly known as Coach) refuses to do. The most annoying thing about his "Loyalty's most important" argument is how much the others believe him. I was shocked that they chose his side instead of Albert's and got rid of Mikayla ... it made no sense at all.
The cool thing is that I have faith in Albert. There's just something about him that suggests he can pull off anything and I fully believe he can end Coach's reign. Same thing with Jim over on the other side - he's done it with Ozzy so he can easily squash a Roach.
Go Jim! Go Albert!
