TVSA ProfileM-Net ProfileMzi is a braniac type with a BSc Honours in Chemistry and an extensive general knowledge. So he’ll just be an immunity monster if they decide to replace all the challenges with trivial pursuit games. For real though, he should do well in those multiple choice Q&A challenges.
He’s an energy advisor but he works in Joburg and not Cape Town so don’t go and blaming him for the power outages. He’s another one who’s going to get creamed by the survival aspect as he’ll miss hot water, electricity, music, TV, cooked meals, coffee, family and dog. If you ignore the family and dog part, there’s a joke somewhere in there about him finally knowing what it feels like to get screwed over by Eskom.
Mzi works well with his hands, is an excellent negotiator (ah, but can he talk down hostage takers?), solves problems well and is a funny guy, something which could make him popular with his fellow contestants. It’s good to have a jokester around. Hopefully he’ll see it as a game and not take things too seriously.
The reason this guy is not going to win is because he says he’s an open book and gullible. Being an open book means he won’t be able to lie well and being gullible means he’ll be easily taken advantage of. These are not useful traits in the game of Survivor.
In his quote, he says to play fair and may the best player win because it is only a game. Level-headed sentiments indeed. It’s funny how many people forget the “it’s a game” part when they end up not being “the best player”. Perhaps someone should paint that on a banner and hang it at Tribal Council so these angry people who get voted out can finally Get It.
Mzi’s favourite actresses are Salma Hayek because “she is hot”, Terry Pheto because “she is pretty” and Nia Long. He doesn’t specify his reasons for picking Nia but for some reason I suspect it’s because she’s a ‘hottie’ more than her amazing acting skills
