Tuesday 5 August 2008 Episode 746 Morongwe starts outlining her strategy to get Abigail back up on her feet, but Shakira still has her doubts. Alex has to take drastic action in order to keep Cairo from proving his involvement in the disappearance of Cedric Martins.
When Lefa invites Palesa over to see his new flat, she denies that their kiss meant anything to her. Christy confesses her feelings for Tino but he throws it all back in her face.
In spite of their agreement to destroy all evidence, Shakira hangs on to some paperwork linking Abigail to Laqhasha's criminal empire.
Wednesday 6 August 2008Episode 747 Alex insists he's no longer entangled in Daniel's affairs, but Morongwe isn't convinced. With Fana out of town, Lefa and Palesa consummate their feelings for each other by having sex.
Tino and Christy butt heads in a failed attempt to deny their strong feeling for each other. Daniel's furious when he discovers Abigail's gone behind his back to deal directly with Neo Mokheti.
Thursday 7 August 2008Episode 748 Palesa can't deal with the guilt of her affair with Lefa, and it's ruining her relationship with Fana. Alex and Morongwe get a surprise visit from Cairo, and Morongwe fears she's losing her husband.
Tino bites off more than he can chew when he promises Christy the perfect "first" date. Daniel considers indulging Abigail's request for a job at NZH as a means to keep his enemy close.
Monday 11 August 2008Episode 749The Khumalo's are stunned when Lolo calls to tell them the shocking news that Lefa's broken up with her. Tino makes an effort to woo Christy by showering her with gifts and building up her excitement for their big date.
Eddie meets with a source, but can his source be able to positively identify Abigail as Laqhasha?
Shakira warns Morongwe that if the plan to have Abigail stand up to Daniel backfires, Shakira will blame Morongwe for pushing Abigail into doing it.
Tuesday 12 August 2008 Episode 750To Tino's disgust, Abigail's plan to manipulate her way back into power gains momentum when Daniel proposes making her NZH's Financial Director.
Palesa's guilt over Lefa and Lolo's break up reaches its climax when the family question what's really going on between her and Lefa.
Tino and Christy's date ends badly because Christy's still struggling with the disturbing revelations about Tino's relationship with Shakira.
Wednesday 13 August 2008Episode 751Tino's still furious with Morongwe for agreeing to help vote Abigail in as NZH's new Financial Director. Nhlanhla discovers that Lefa and Palesa had sex and Lefa begs Nhlanhla to allow Palesa to tell Fana what happened. Eddie is furious when his crime story article is anonymously leaked to The Voice's competitor.
Christy finds out from Mangi that Tino and Shakira may very well have slept together. Eddie's source, Honey, reveals she has information that could lead to the downfall of Laqhasha's criminal empire and beyond.
Thursday 14 August 2008Episode 752 Fana is devastated when Palesa confesses that she cheated on him with Lefa. Cairo discovers that is was Eddie's information that was leaked to The Daily Press and insists Eddie hands over the name of his source.
Christy's attempt to gather more information on Shakira and Tino's relationship hits a snag when Nadia reveals that she knows nothing.
Abigail realizes that Daniel only "wants" to protect her so that he can enjoy watching her suffer at his own hands.
Monday 18 August 2008Episode 753 Tino promises to tell Christy the whole truth about him and Shakira, but will he really come clean?
Abigail tries to intimidate Eddie into stopping his investigation into Laqhasha on the sly, but Eddie won't be deterred. Fana decides to attend a play's opening night at the community centre, and things get really ugly between him, Palesa and Lefa. Eddie still refuses to hand over his source, and Cairo warns him he's playing with fire and he's likely to get burned.
Tuesday 19 August 2008 Episode 754 Daniel wants Eddie to give him the name of his source and claims he wants to help the police, but Eddie suspects Daniel may have his own agenda. Palesa and Lefa's secret affair is out in the open.
Morongwe comes to Eddie's aid and refuses to hand over his source to Cairo, but she's secretly protecting Abigail in doing so. Cairo threatens Eddie with a subpoena, but a stubborn Eddie urges Cairo to take his best shot as he refuses to compromise his principles - no matter what.
Wednesday 20 August 2008Episode 755 Palesa is hurt when Maletsatsi accuses her of seducing Lefa and manipulating him into ending his relationship with Lolo. Nhlanhla urges Fana to fight for Palesa, if he does still care about her.
Christy's self-conscious about her high IQ and Tino decides to tease her about it. Cairo drops a bomb on Abigail - he now has a witness who can positively identify Abigail as Laqhasha.
Thursday 21 August 2008Episode 756 Eddie urges Cairo to find a way to retrieve the incriminating video footage as it could be the spark that leads to Laqhasha's downfall. Christy and Tino have their general knowledge quiz, which Christy manipulates in order to lose.
Palesa tells a crushed Lefa that she's decided to move back in with Fana. Abigail is devastated to discover that the key to retrieving the footage she's secretly kept in a "safe" place has gone missing.
Monday 25 August 2008Episode 757 Shakira and Abigail hatch a plan to retrieve Abigail's cane from Tino's apartment and Shakira gets caught red handed in her attempt. Cairo warns Tino he's close to proving Abigail is Laqhasha and once he gets the evidence he needs, he plans to put her behind bars for a long time.
Palesa agrees to give her relationship with Fana a second chance. Chaos in the newsroom compels Nadia to approach Daniel with her need to hire a new Art Director.
Tuesday 26 August 2008 Episode 758 Shakira and Abigail plot to retrieve the incriminating footage, but Tino is one step ahead of them. Maletsatsi urges Palesa to rebuild her relationship with Fana, however, Fana is seeing things clearly for the first time.
Nhlanhla decides he's the perfect man for the new Art Director job ... but how does he convince Nadia?
Tino watches the incriminating footage of Abigail in full-on Laqhasha mode and is utterly disgusted.
Wednesday 27 August 2008Episode 759 Alex warns Tino that, if Abigail is convicted of engaging in organized crime, she could be in prison for 25-years to life. Palesa summons the courage to tell Maletsatsi and Eddie that she and Lefa are officially a couple.
Shakira pleads with Tino not to give Abigail over to the police, but it seems a remorseless Tino's already made up his mind. Daniel wants a skeptical Nadia to employ Neo Mokheti's son, Lentswe, as NZH's new Art Director.
Palesa is worried that Fana's running away from his problems by planning an overseas trip.
Thursday 28 August 2008Episode 760Cairo organizes a search warrant and raids Tino's penthouse, determined to find the incriminating footage that could help bring down Abigail. Fana prepares to leave by saying goodbye to the people he loves the most. It's clear he will be sorely missed.
Nadia is being put under increasing pressure from Daniel to hire Lentswe. Determined for them to move forward together, Lefa contemplates marrying Palesa. Tino makes a choice that seals his mother's fate.
