Tino is told that Abigail has been found dead and burnt beyond recognition in a car wreck. Christy picks up on signs of a previously concealed intimacy between Tino and Shakira.
The police suspect Abigail may have been murdered ... and Tino may even be a suspect. Shakira, driven by grief and guilt to erratic and irrational behaviour, accuses Alex of murder. Alex is left wondering whether Daniel had anything to do with the killing.

Tino struggles to come to terms with the fact that his mother's body won't be released for the funeral. Tino and Shakira, both emotionally overwrought, seek solace in each other and very nearly become intimate. Shakira, in a state of imminent nervous collapse, flees her love for Tino and flies into the arms of Alex. Tino's uncle Cedric, Tino's late father Eldridge's younger brother, phones to announce he's coming to town for Abigail's memorial.
Thursday, 3 July 2008 Episode 728
Tino slowly starts to come to terms with the possibility that Abigail may have been murdered. Cedric arrives to attend Abigail's memorial, and Alex can't shake the feeling he's seen Cedric somewhere before.
Christy grows increasingly suspicious of Tino and Shakira's intimate behaviour during this time of grief. Shakira, feeling slighted and sidelined, spontaneously addresses the memorial crowd and reveals that Tino and her share the same blood.
Monday, 7 July 2008 Episode 729
When Christy asks Tino whether he and Shakira have ever had sex, he lies and assures her they've only kissed. Alex and Shakira move closer towards becoming intimate, only for Shakira to blow it with him again.
Christy looks to verbalise her feelings for Tino, but Tino's too guilt-ridden about lying to her to listen. Daniel invites Shakira to a private gaming party. She strategically accepts and goes without Alex. But Alex follows her...

The police acquire their first serious lead on Abigail's possible killer, but frustration mounts as the trail goes cold again. Tino can't seem to move on from the loss of his mother, until Cedric urges him to take control of his own destiny.
Alex confronts Shakira over the mixed signals she's been giving him, and they wind up in bed together. Tino apologises to Christy for pushing her away, and they kiss…

Cedric moves into Tino's apartment, but Christy is very wary of him. Christy speaks to Alex about her suspicions and he alerts her to a possible connection between Daniel and Cedric.
Alex and Shakira lose themselves in a full-blown affair, but they keep it a secret from everyone else ...for the time being. However, Shakira is shocked when she discovers that Alex is the last person that phoned Abigail before she died.
Thursday, 10 July 2008 Episode 732
Tino discovers that Alex and Shakira are having an affair, but things go from bad to worse when Shakira tells Tino she suspects Alex of being involved in Abigail's death.
Tino confronts Alex in a heated exchange. Incensed, Alex reveals to Tino that Abigail was in fact Laqhasha. It is discovered that Cedric has a mystery guest cooped up in a secret flat ... someone who shouldn't even be alive.
Monday, 14 July 2008 Episode 733
The DNA report on the tooth fragment found alongside Abigail's car is made available ...it's not a match. The burnt body pulled out of the wreckage is not Abigail.
Cedric almost has to do away with a pesky neighbour in order to keep the fact that he's holding someone captive a secret. Daniel's growing frustrated by Cedric's lack of efficiency in implementing his plan to destroy Abigail's legacy.
Tuesday, 15 July 2008 Episode 734
Tino urges Shakira to tell the cops everything she knows, but she refuses to betray either Alex or Abigail. Tino receives an anonymous recording depicting Abigail being held hostage, and on it is Abigail confessing to being Laqhasha! Daniel admits to Alex that he's responsible for Abigail's disappearance, but he doesn't let Alex in on his plans.
Wednesday, 16 July 2008 Episode 735
Cedric tells Tino that Abigail is not the woman he thinks she is and that his whole life has been a lie. An enraged Cedric is out for blood and informs Daniel he wants to change the plan… Daniel tips off the police and leads them straight to the flat where Abigail is being held hostage. Abigail and Tino are reunited, but Tino turns his back on his mother forever.
Thursday, 17 July 2008 Episode 736
Daniel and Eddie both want The Voice to run a feature on Abigail, but for different reasons. The attraction between Lefa and Palesa builds to the point where Lefa feels uncomfortable being around Palesa and Fana.
Daniel honours his undertaking to Morongwe and cuts Alex out of his sideline deals. Shakira's greatly overstated the extent of Abigail's recovery as she is an emotional mess. Will she ever get over her ordeal?
Monday, 21 July 2008 Episode 737
Spurred on by Eddie, Detective-Inspector "Cairo" Conradie gets a fragile Abigail to confess that Daniel was behind her kidnapping. Alex reiterates his commitment to Morongwe, despite the fact that he had an illicit affair with Shakira when she was away.
The attraction between Palesa and Lefa grows stronger when they end up attending a poetry session together. Mangi overhears a conversation between Nadia and Mmadika which seems to suggest that Dika's attracted to him.
Tuesday, 22 July 2008 Episode 738
Tino warns Detective-Inspector "Cairo" Conradie to stop investigating Abigail, and Daniel tries to get Cairo off his own tail. Mangi is worried Mmadika has the hots for him, but Nhlanhla laughs it off. Complications arise when Mangi is assigned to work closely with Mmadika.
Lefa's growing feelings for Palesa are revealed when he jealously reacts to her being affectionate towards Fana. Abigail is overwhelmed by emotions when Shakira acknowledges her as her mother.
Wednesday, 23 July 2008 Episode 739
Lefa and Palesa become increasingly aware of the growing attraction between them, but are at a loss as to how to deal with it.
Alex reaches out to an anguished Tino, but a closed off Tino rejects Alex's offer of friendship. Mmadika now assumes Mangi has a crush on her, and Mangi still thinks Mmadika has the hots for him. The misunderstanding between them increases.
Daniel calls in some favours and, as a result, Cairo's superiors put pressure on him to leave Daniel alone. Tino cruelly shuns a devastated Abigail in public.
Thursday, 24 July 2008 Episode 740
Palesa over-compensates with Fana because she feels guilty about her intensifying attraction for Lefa. Abigail insists on attending the NZH board meeting as it's the only way she can get to see and speak to Tino. Mangi tries to tell Mmadika he's not into her, but unintentionally winds up telling her he does like her. Abigail arrives at the meeting, but Tino shuns her again ...much to Daniel's delight. Cairo drops a bombshell on Daniel ...Cedric Martins has been found, thanks to valuable information provided by Tino.
Monday, 28 July 2008 Episode 741
Tino wants to take more of an active role in NZH and places increasing heat and pressure on Daniel. Fana starts to wonder whether there's something going on between Palesa and Lefa.
Mangi musters up the courage to ask Mmadika out for a drink, so that he can clear the air about their misunderstanding. Daniel attempts to blackmail Alex to elicit his help on the Cedric problem but his plan backfires.

Daniel toys with both Tino and Alex by forcing them to work together, and Tino again makes it clear to Alex that he doesn't trust him. Morongwe promises Abigail her support, but she's worried by how uncharacteristically weak Abigail seems. Mmadika and Mangi's "date" ends in catastrophe. Palesa and Lefa steal a kiss, and Nhlanhla secretly witnesses it. Daniel gets some very bad news regarding Cedric Martins: he's turning state's witness against Daniel!

Morongwe's marriage is back on solid ground, Abigail is indebted to her, and Shakira is grateful for her support. Life is good. Or so it seems. A manipulative Daniel draws a reluctant Alex back towards the dark side.
Nhlanhla confronts both Palesa and Lefa about their forbidden kiss. Mangi is humiliated when he learns he was monumentally wrong in thinking that Mmadika had a crush on him.

Abigail awaits the imminent return of Cedric Martins as she will get some kind of revenge when he is behind bars. Mangi is too embarrassed to face Mmadika… Nhlanhla doesn't know what to do about Lefa and Palesa's kiss, and so he delivers them an ultimatum. Morongwe urges Abigail to play out her boldest, most decisive move yet - to kill of Laqhasha! But will Abigail do it?

On last night's episode the way Lefa was singing hey, he looked very happy for someone attending a funeral and Shakira the way she spoke, yini ngokuhlinzela iqaqa ebandla, you cldnt wait. About Shakira she is pretty but i dont like her other skills you know "jumping the sackwith every man on the show".
i have no further comments; i knew ARM aka Laqhasha was alive try something you know something new not overdone story lines, it was Scandal before but now its a soapy. We have to constently watch Barker Haines' ressurections on Isidingo not scandal again, i thought it was about news reporting why not report on Tino and Sis Shakira doing the deed and Daniel and Alex's connections. Something pliz

Well i think they have given us a bit more entertaining storyline, this time around and i would like to see abigail go down on her knees and i hope she ends up with nothing at all. well shakira and alex actually make a crazy couple while lefa and palesa was quit obvious.
