Nadia's decision to marry Kamlesh delights Sumita, but when Daniel finds out, he is devastated. Palesa is shattered by the news of Martha Makhubela's death, but despite the pleas from her family and friends, she is more determined than ever to persevere with the supplements.
Nhlanhla's depression begins to get him into hot water at work, especially with Morongwe. Mmadika has a strange reaction to the diet herbal pills, but Thato insists she keeps taking them.

Abigail is adamant she can't afford to doubt Shakira's mental well-being if she is going to take over the 'Laqhasha' mantle one day. Alex takes the decision not to run from his true nature any longer, and pulls out of his involvement on 'Estate'.
The news of Nadia's engagement to Kamlesh spreads through NZH and while most people are in a celebratory mood, Daniel is shattered. After attending Martha's funeral, Palesa decides not to use the supplements until Eddie takes them to a lab contact to have them tested.

Mmadika believes she can deal with her insomnia without her sister's help. Nhlanhla is about to reach his limit and asks for compassionate leave. Abigail tells Shakira that big trouble May be coming their way.
Desperate to release his 'inner self', Alex reluctantly accepts Daniel's offer of employment. Eddie returns with the lab results and Palesa discovers the supplements are placebos.

Abigail confronts Christy about her involvement in Alex's resignation. Meanwhile, Alex accepts his first assignment from Daniel. Eddie and Fana get more than they bargained for when they challenge H.I.Victory.

Christy confronts Daniel about his possible role in Alex resigning from Estate. Nhlanhla decides to give internet dating a chance, but then Jay-Jay accidentally posts Mangi's photo on the web site, instead of Nhlanhla's.
Nadia's having trouble dealing with her mother-in-law on the wedding plans …and the attraction between her and Daniel is still strong. Palesa goes to confront the people at H.I.Victory, but discovers they've disappeared without a trace.

Nadia has cold feet about her upcoming wedding to Kamlesh, but Sumita won't allow her to pull out. Palesa fears the H.I.Victory crooks will never pay for their scam, but Eddie plans to expose them on The Voice.
Thato feels guilty for selling unregistered diet pills to Mmadika, but can't seem to bring herself to tell Mmadika the truth. Abigail instructs Shakira to get closer to Alex, in order to find out what Daniel's motivation is for enlisting him as an ally.

Palesa allows herself to be interviewed, as Eddie plans to go public with the H.I.Victory expose. Daniel tries to find out why Mmadika's work is slipping, but things take a nasty turn.
Shakira plants a seed of suspicion in Tino's mind, and he decides to find out what Alex is up to. Daniel confesses to Mangi how he really feels about Nadia.

Daniel's decided to fight for Nadia, but Mangi urges him not to interfere with Nadia's marriage plans. Nhlanhla's back to his best again now that he's "dating" someone online.
Lolo confesses that she kissed someone else, and Lefa doesn't take the revelation well. Shakira fishes for information to find out just how deep Alex is in Daniel's pocket, but Alex isn't biting.

Nhlanhla and Mangi freak out as Morongwe sets out to catch the internet abusers. Daniel opens his heart to Nadia, but she's unmoved when it becomes clear he will not divorce Leticia.
Morongwe sets her sights on Thato when she discovers Thato gave Mmadika the diet pills. Fana is relieved when Lolo assures him she won't reveal it was with him that she shared a kiss.

Maletsatsi decides to quit all her church activities because she's not getting the respect she feels she deserves. In spite of being intimidated by her employers, Thato is conflicted about reporting the wrongdoing of 'Health & Mind' to the Pharmaceutical's Council.
Nadia breaks off her wedding plans with Kamlesh and is filled with guilt afterwards. Palesa prevents Lolo from going to Lefa, who wants nothing to do with her.

The lukewarm response to his newspaper feature, coupled with his mother's impending unemployment, forces Mangi to reconsider Daniel's offer. Sumita isn't willing to forgive Nadia for breaking off her engagement and fears her daughter is going to make another big mistake.
Lefa returns from his time alone and has a dramatic announcement for Lolo. Daniel calms Alex's fears about Shakira snooping around their project, but he is making a big mistake.

Nadia tells Daniel that there is no hope for a future together, even after backing out of her wedding with Kamlesh. Morongwe catches Alex flirting with Shakira at RT's and confronts him about it.
Lefa re-offers Maletsatsi her position as treasurer of the church, now that he is to become the new pastor. With a renewed passion for her vocation, Thato wants to go back to being a nurse.

Shakira's incessant flirting lands Alex in even more hot water with Morongwe. Lefa asks Lolo to be a volunteer at the youth sessions he's facilitating so they can spend more time together.
Fana's excited by the prospect of a big pay day after successfully performing some PI work for a rich client. Abigail wants to bring Morongwe back into the Laqhasha fold, and Shakira feels threatened by this.

Furious that the condemned notices on the city buildings have been reversed, Daniel orders Alex to go after Laqhasha. Morongwe ultimately agrees to help Abigail solve her "sensitive business issue".
Mangi's promotion to Daniel's personal assistant causes a fallout in the newsroom. Palesa can't help but be secretly envious when Lefa shows her the promise ring he's bought Lolo.
