Coming up on Scandal! in February, 2008:

Monday, 4 February 2008

Maletsatsi offers to help pay for Palesa's studies and mother and daughter connect for the first time in ages. Mangi discovers there was a witness to Nadia's accident, but resolves not to turn himself in just yet.

A defeated Alex confesses to Tino that he blew the twins' education fund on their investment. Maletsatsi finally decides to tell Palesa the truth about her past, but a drunken Eddie beats her to the punch.

Tuesday, 5 February 2008

Despite Maletsatsi pleading for Palesa's forgiveness for concealing that she used to be a prostitute, Palesa refuses to trust her mother anymore. Daniel tells Morongwe Alex asked for a salary advance and Alex reveals to Mmadika that he lost the money. Desperate, Alex turns to Tino for a loan.

When Daniel is about to get Tatenda to go to the police, Mangi steps forward to confess his responsibility for Nadia's accident. Palesa decides to move out. Hurt and angry, both Maletsatsi and Lolo blame Eddie.

Wednesday, 6 February 2008

Maletsatsi believes she's paying for her past sins now that Palesa refuses to have anything to do with her. Morongwe is determined to find out Alex's secret and Mmadika unsuccessfully tries to persuade Alex to confess.

Mysterious developments with Tatenda jeopardize Nadia's efforts to find out who caused her accident. Eddie jeopardizes his relationship with Mmadika by making inappropriate drunken advances on her.

Thursday, 7 February 2008

After shamelessly coming onto Mmadika, Eddie asks Daniel to grant him immediate leave and then he goes missing. Daniel reveals he secretly orchestrated Tatenda's deportation to protect Mangi, even though it meant betraying Nadia in the process.

Left with no alternative, Alex bites the bullet and comes clean to Morongwe about blowing the twins' education fund. Palesa confesses that she wishes Maletsatsi had contracted HIV instead of her, given the promiscuous life her mother led.

Monday, 11 February 2008

Alex tries to make things right with Morongwe over his losing of the twins' education fund on the stock market. Everyone is looking for Eddie, who's been missing for the past four days ... then he shows up at RT's blind drunk and asking for Lolo's help.

Palesa reconciles with Maletsatsi. Maletsatsi apologizes to Mmadika for thinking the worst of her relationship with Eddie. Tatenda, the witness to Mangi's automobile accident, comes back to town, and gives Daniel an ultimatum.

Tueday, 12 February 2008

Lolo confesses that Eddie's no longer her hero, and Abigail urges him to seek treatment for his alcohol abuse, which he does by promising to attend AA. Rather than tell Maletsatsi she's a horrible singer, Tino and Nhlanhla suggest that her voice needs professional coaching.

Tatenda promises not to reveal the truth about the car accident to Nadia, but tells Mangi that Daniel is his father. When confronted about it, Daniel acknowledges that it's true, which infuriates Thato.

Wednesday, 13 February 2008

Thato secretly fears she may be pregnant, but Jay-Jay is excited by the prospect of her having his own child. Daniel is determined to teach Mangi discipline now that he's revealed he's Mangi's father, but Mangi wants nothing to do with him. Eddie is eager to prove he's still capable of doing his job, but he struggles to focus because he's taking major physical strain.

Mmadika speaks about her and Morongwe's lack of a relationship with their father for the first time. Tino asks Maletsatsi to spend more time on her Martins Property duties, thereby putting her job as church treasurer in jeopardy.

Thursday, 14 February 2008

Mmadika has arranged for her father to come up to Joburg in order to reconcile with Morongwe. Thato and Maletsatsi make up with each other but Maletsatsi is shocked when Thato admits that she will have an abortion if it turns out that she is pregnant.

Tino decides to resurrect the property publication idea, and he's bringing in Alex as his partner. Mangi continues to avoid Thato and Daniel. Right in the middle of meeting a deadline, Eddie passes out on the newsroom floor.

Monday, 18 February 2008

Mangi continues to avoid Daniel. Eddie's test results indicate that his liver is on the verge of failure if he drinks again. Mmadika accepts that she can't organize a reconciliation between her father and Morongwe.

Jay-Jay becomes very angry with Thato when she reveals that she would have had an abortion if she had been pregnant. Tino and Alex convince Nadia to help them in their new business venture while Mmadika is worried that their new publication will result in disaster.

Tuesday, 19 February 2008

Mr Patrick Molefe arrives from out of town and although she doesn't show it, Morongwe is very shaken by her father's presence. Jay-Jay insists on having children with Thato, forcing her to look into extreme measures to ensure that won't happen. Daniel wants Eddie fired but Mmadika and Morongwe scheme to keep him around.

Meanwhile, Eddie is determined to stay sober and alive with the support of his family. Mangi on the other hand wants to be fired and tries to get Mmadika to do it. Tino questions where his passions lie with regard to business and his new found love of music.

Wednesday, 20 February 2008

Morongwe is very abrupt when her father comes to visit her at her office which infuriates Mmadika. Daniel and Abigail form an alliance against Tino's planned property publication.

Thato reveals to Maletsatsi that she does not plan to tell Jay-Jay of her decision although she is still going to marry him. Eddie throws Pastor Matlala out of his house.

Thursday, 21 February 2008

Mmadika gets the twins excited about the prospect of meeting their grandfather for the first time, much to Morongwe's displeasure. Jay-Jay discovers that Thato was going to get her tubes tied without telling him.

Eddie refuses to go to another AA meeting because he believes the whole program is beneath him and makes his cravings for alcohol worse. Abigail foils Daniel's plans to derail Tino's property proposal when she votes in favour of it at the board meeting.
Week 10

Monday, 25 February 2008

Daniel is on the warpath and clashes with Tino, leading to war being declared between Daniel and Abigail. Thato decides not to go through with the procedure after all, but to her shock, it makes no difference to Jay-Jay, he has decided he will not marry her.

Mmadika steps up her efforts to bring about rapprochement between Morongwe and her father. Nhlanhla organises Tino another shot at an audition.

Tuesday, 26 February 2008

Jay-Jay finally comes to a decision about his relationship with Thato. Maletsatsi is forced to choose between her church job and working for Tino. Eddie appears to have discovered a dangerous new alternative to alcohol. Alarmingly Abigail is beginning to show a whole new interest in Morongwe and her father.

Wednesday, 27 February 2008

Mr. Molefe manages to organize a meeting with Morongwe, after all of Mmadika's attempts fail. Jay-Jay, despite his best efforts, isn't ready to go back to single life yet. The time spent with Thato made him realize the importance of family.

Eddie seeks out Thato for some prescription pain-killers to help him ease the alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Nadia is persuaded by Daniel to help reach out to Mangi but she finds the job more difficult than she anticipated. Alex and Tino consider hiring Palesa to replace Maletsatsi.

Thursday, 28 February 2008

Morongwe refuses to believe that her father has cancer. Tino and Alex disagree about who to hire as their new PA for the property publication. After learning the truth, Morongwe feels guilty for not believing her father. Mangi blurts out the truth about the accident to Nadia. Nadia confronts Daniel and ends their relationship once and for all.
