SCANDAL

TX Date: 1 AUGUST 2007

Mangi tells Lolo that Fana visiting Palesa is disrespectful to their culture and Eddie bans Fana from their dinners. Catching her off guard Stan confirms the date he thinks Nadia has asks him on. Tino is worried that Alex wants to harm Morongwe and confronts both of them, but Abigail is more concerned about Morongwe's motives for hiding the relationship. Kayleigh is disturbed by the information she receives on her father. She is warned not to dig deeper.

TX Date: 2 AUGUST 2007

After learning the truth about Alex and Morongwe, Abigail warns Alex not to harm his wife. Fana and Palesa seal the dead by spending the night together for the first time. Stan and Mangi get a surprise visitor. Fana threatens to cut Lolo out of his life.

Week 33

TX Date: 6 AUGUST 2007

Maletsatsi encourages Eddie to make peace with Fana but the question is - will Fana be receptive to the olive branch? Stan, under advice from Mangi, tries a different strategy with Nadia to get her to go out on a date with him. Alex misses an appointment with his parole officer which leads to unfortunate consequences in the office. Kayleigh finds out that Shakira went behind her back to Eddie, and is angry with her.

TX Date: 7 AUGUST 2007

Eddie comes up with a plan to resolve his problem with Maletsatsi's church going activities. Stan's attempt to be more assertive with Nadia ends in violence. Shakira is determined to make amends with Kayleigh’s following her meddling. Alex appoints an unexpected representative to put his case before the parole hearing.

TX Date: 8 AUGUST 2007

Mangi suggests that Stan further his relationship with Nadia by taking advantage of her guilt at having injured his nose. Morongwe is emotionally conflicted about testifying on Alex's behalf at his upcoming parole hearing. After initially refusing Eddie's invitation, Fana joins the family in their regular Wednesday night dinner. Tino is worried that Alex is downplaying the potentially devastating consequences of failing his parole hearing.

TX Date: 9 AUGUST 2007

Alex's future hangs in the balance and only Morongwe can save him. Eddie's plan to win Maletsatsi's approval reaches it's fulfillment. Mangi conspires to have Nadia spend an intimate evening with Stan. Shakira's overtures to Kayleigh meet with an unexpected response.

Week 34

TX Date: 13 AUGUST 2007

Despite Alex's attempts to reconcile with Morongwe, she is adamant about going through with the divorce. Palesa and Fana are wary of going for an HIV test as they fear it may expose their sexual history. Daniel Nyathi moves into office space in NZH, much to Eddie's disgust. Jay-Jay encourages Kayleigh to make up with Shakira.

TX Date: 14 AUGUST 2007

Morongwe is advised to think hard before divorcing Alex - then admits that she really does love Alex, and hates him for it. Fana and Palesa confess they've both had unprotected sex in the past. There's a surprise visitor during the NZH board meeting. Mangi and Lolo accompany each other to the testing drive.

TX Date: 15 AUGUST 2007

Maletsatsi is stung that Palesa will not open up to her. Shakira and Kayleigh's friendship makes Nhlanhla jealous. Kayleigh believes she is close to finding the truth about her father. Morongwe invites Alex to her apartment.

TX Date: 16 AUGUST 2007

Alex is shattered at having been served divorce papers, but could he have an ace up his sleeve? An assault on Kayleigh is the beginning of a new chapter in her friendship with Shakira. Samantha returns, and realizes that she will have a struggle on her hands with Nadia around. There is shattering news for someone after the HIV tests.

Week 35

TX Date: 20 AUGUST 2007

Morongwe is convinced that Alex has an ulterior motive after signing the divorce papers without putting up a fight. Palesa is finding it difficult to conceal her HIV status from Maletsatsi and Fana. Tino and Shakira try to mend their broken relationship. The Scandal staff are disappointed that Samantha is back, having grown quite fond of her replacement, Nadia.

TX Date: 21 AUGUST 2007

Jomo must return to KZN to help his wife with their shebeen. Jay-Jay receives a call from a man who refuses to believe that Vusi is dead. Samantha is put off that the staff is so keen the new processes that Nadia implemented in her absence. Palesa informs Tino of Morongwe's strange phone habits. And Alex believes Morongwe might be having a secret affair. Both Shakira and Kayleigh admit to having wanted their kiss to happen.

TX Date: 22 AUGUST 2007

Tino starts to get to the bottom of Morongwe's suspicious behaviour. Jay-Jay's fascination with his brother's underworld contacts continues to grow. Samantha and Nadia aren't getting on, and Daniel has to step in. Kayleigh tries to keep Shakira at a distance, but she's not getting the message.

TX Date: 23 AUGUST 2007

Shakira wants to take the next step in her relationship with Kayleigh. Fana and Mangi are worried that Jay-Jay may be in danger. Nadia takes advantage of Stan's offer and quits her job at Scandal. Morongwe signs the divorce papers in front of Alex, with unexpected consequences.

Week 36

TX Date: 27 AUGUST 2007

Morongwe's sister, Mmadika, arrives in town and seems to have a relationship with Alex that Morongwe is not aware of. Jay-Jay makes a deal with Singanga – in exchange for the debt he owes Vusi, Jay-Jay will prove that his brother is still alive. Kayleigh receives a document from an anonymous source that confirms her father's criminal activities.

TX Date: 28 AUGUST 2007

Mmadika convinces Morongwe to introduce her to her colleagues at NZH. Eddie discourages Kayleigh from pursuing the truth about her father. Fana helps Jay-Jay to con Singanga into believing that Vusi is still alive. Mmadika admits her real feelings for Alex but she does not get the response she was hoping for.

TX Date: 29 AUGUST 2007

Mmadika tries to persuade Morongwe to tell Alex about the children while at the same time encouraging her not to pursue a relationship with Alex. Jay-Jay and Nhlanhla grow concerned about Shakira's odd behaviour and try to convince Kayleigh to do something about it. Alex continues to question why Mmadika is back and suggests Morongwe confront her sister about her real motives.

TX Date: 30 AUGUST 2007

Morongwe wrestles with the thought of whether she can ever trust Alex and her sister again. Jay-Jay's success with Singanga starts going to his head, but pride cometh before a fall. When Shakira discovers that Kayleigh's been asking Tino for advice about how to deal with her, matters between the two girls come to a head. Mangi becomes increasingly concerned about Jay-Jay's involvement with Vusi's world of the criminal underground.
