Here's a special something for Scandalites too (see the RC Sneak Peak if you missed it) ... a squiz at the headline storylines coming up over December and into January, 2010:

Missing! Have you seen this child?
The 911 starts on: Tuesday 1 December, 2009

Thabang (Thabo Nyaku) has been missing for three days and his panicked parents, NZH company manager Mo (Nthati Moshesh) and sales director Alex (Shona Ferguson), drop their marital problems to call an emergency press conference to beg for help from South Africa’s citizens in finding their son.

Alex, arrested as an initial suspect, is released on bail. Bewildered daughter Kgomotso (Koketso Paulus) witnesses her father being harassed and insulted in public.

Sick with grief, Mo is frustrated by the lack of police investigation progress after security video footage reveals that Thabang was abducted by an unknown adult male. She leads public search teams and tips off journos to the homes of known sex offenders.

She is also detained.

A raid on a paedophile ring fails to bring Thabang home. There will be a morgue ID and a final press call.

Haunted by it all Mo and Alex will finally find their way back to each other.

I Do Love You/I Am Proud Of You! (TX Wednesday December 02)
The breaking news is on: Wednesday, 2 December 2009

There's a public announcement - live on e.tv prime time news - from Gauteng’s Director General of Communications and esteemed former anti-apartheid activist, Fiona Davids (Nazli George), to her estranged award-winning fashion designer daughter Erin (Lorcia Cooper).

Will this ruptured relationship be repaired?

HHP live at Cole’s
Hits the stage on:  Thursday, 3 December 2009

Jabulani Tsambo, better known as Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP), takes the stage at the renovated RT’s, now called - Cole’s.

New owner, new vibe …the club goes ‘tswaka’ with HHP.

Festive Sex for Shakira and Cole
Their s'X-rating starts on: Thursday 10, December

Former cruise ship singer and sletty Cole (Emmanuel Castis) dedicates a ballad to Scandal mag editor Shakira (Dawn Matthews) during the live launch of his demo CD at Cole’s - the club he now co-owns with property entrepreneur and journal editor, Tino (Clint Brink).

They (Cole and Shakira, not Cole and Clint) pick up their affair from where they left off - Cole ducked after Abigail blew up, wporried that he'd be a prime suspect.

Now that he’s back, the resumed sex is great, but Shakira can’t/won’t commit to him because she feels she can’t trust him - which just goes to show how slimey is he is considering she was the one who had her mother killed.

Wayne’s Coyote Crush
Creepiness starts from:  Wednesday 16 December 2009

Wayne (Theo Landey) still has a thing for his former high school art teacher, Bev Houndslow (Carolyn Visser). She was the Scandal production manager’s first love and he willingly lost his virginity to her.

Now she’s in the news with the accusation of her being a serial child molester and Wayne has to wrestle with the fact that their relationship, which he has always fondly remembered as romantic, was a criminal activity.

No Merry Khumalo Household: Palesa Leaves Pastor Lefa
Their splitsville happens from:  Monday 21 December 2009

Enraged and humiliated Palesa (Refilwe Madumo) moves out when her husband, Pastor Lefa (Aubrey Poo), finally confesses to the NZH receptionist that Gosiame (Thabo Mlangeni) is his illegitimate son.

The revelation is made just before HIV+ Palesa is about to go ahead with their plan to become a mother via artificial insemination. Palesa’s concerned step-dad, editor of The Voice Eddie Khumalo (Sandy Mokwena), and her mom, Maletsatsi (Joyce Skefu), will also find it difficult to forgive their son-in-law’s behaviour.

Nadia’s Bizarre Xmas Eve surprise
Happens on: Christmas Eve

Shocked, screaming Nadia (Sorisha Naidoo) makes a grisly discovery of floating bones and a skull in the family’s flooded garden.

Her husband, NZH CEO Daniel (Sello Maake ka Ncube), does an excellent under cover of night cleanup that includes the gathering of his rich ex- wife Leticia’s remains - he accidentally killed, then buried her a while back - and hoisting them into the family freezer. Nadia will remove Leticia’s leftovers for faraway final burial.

DJ Ice plays Cole’s, New Year’s Eve
On: New Year's Eve

DJ Ice started his career back in his teens, and has been working as a professional DJ since 1997. Cole’s regulars get treated to his Melodic Uplifting Trance and Electro House music as he takes the crowds on an energetic new year’s eve.

Then, in January 2010 ...

Nadia Goes Nuts
Madness happens from: Monday 4, January 2009

Hysterical Nadia, suffering from post-traumatic stress and immense guilt, starts seeing and talking to dead Leticia, due to her insomnia-induced hallucinations.

She is also in immense fear of Daniel who has threatened the life of his deranged wife if she reveals the truth.

Daniel’s inadvertent shoving of Nadia down the stairs, followed by her medicated house arrest, has triggered rumours in the newsroom about domestic abuse.

Mangi (Kagiso Modupe) and his girlfriend Keke (Gontse Ntshegang) are disturbed by his step-mom’s drained, drawn, delusional physical behaviour and mental disintegration.

The former beauty is admitted for voluntary psychiatric observation after public displays of madness and a drooling overdose.

It’s her best friend, features editor of The Voice, Dika (Masechabe Moshoeshoe), who comes to the rescue with the help of Alex and Tino.

Nadia’s nervous breakdown, coinciding with the discovery by the police of the re-buried body of Daniel’s missing ex, sparks their own investigation.

Wayne and Cole’s Bromance
Their boy trouble starts: Tuesday 26, January 2009

Wayne’s boast that he can scalp Cole’s extra 2010 World Cup match tickets for megabucks will come back to bite him.

Possibly Pregnant Palesa Lies
Her untruths begin: Thursday 21, January 2009

It’s her impassioned speech and plea to the church council (divided over whether to expel the pastor for his out of wedlock child, progressive ideas and many personal upheavals) that saves Palesa's husband from being fired.

Palesa officially declares the acceptance of her husband’s love child into her heart and life - after being privately pressured by her husband and parents-in-law to say the right thing.

Can she live with the lie and reality of what she has done?
