Sketch You Later large

SKETCH U LATER!

ON: Thursdays (Starts: 05th July ‘12)
AT: 18:30 on SABC3
EPISODES: 6
GENRE: Local Comedy

Sketch U Later! Is a 24-minute, comedy sketch show with gut busting, roll on the floor, cheek wobbling (both face and posterior) results!

It is a show that reflects and builds our unity as a nation through the collective believe in the absurd, the lame, the corrupt, the ironic and the downright hysterical characters and situations that truly reflect our country.

Following in the footsteps of internationally acclaimed sketch shows like Little Britain, Saturday Night live and The Fast Show, Sketch U Later! obliterates all iconic South Africanisms, icons, situ’s, chinas, outies, laanies, belters and JZ’s along the way.

Sketch U Later! takes the Mickey and the Minnie out of South African characters and popular culture, including:

Indian builders
Played by notorious funny-men Meren Reddy and Kaseran Pillay – these are 2 handymen you definitely DON’T want doing your renovation.

The Real Housewives of Eldorado Park
Need we say more?

The Real housewives of Jay Zee
Nuff said!

Coming Soon!
Remakes of popular movies including Township Twilight and Babalaas 3

PC woman
She’s white, blonde, middleclass, and English. She’s overly PC about EVERYTHING. Fights for causes that aren’t hers and makes up causes that she feels should be causes when they shouldn’t. She’s pompous, condescending and holier than thou – but THINKS she is Mother Teresa.

Public service lady
The front desk lady in ALL departments of public service: Home Affairs; Traffic Dept; Hospitals; police stations – you name it - she is there to make your life a living hell.

Bitter expats
Every family has them: the bitter expat relatives who call home to tell you how sh*t your life is!
Working Stripper Mom – she’s dedicated to her job and her babysitter has cancelled last minute.
Metro-sexual Rugby Team: They like to talk about their feelings.

Those are just a handful of the fabulous wacky characters that will populate the screen on Sketch U Later!
