A dra series about offbeat Detective Charlie Crews (played by Damian Lewis), who returns to the force after years in prison - after serving time for a crime he didn't commit.
He was released from prison after DNA evidence exonerated him for a front-page triple murder for which he served 12 years.
Having lost his job, his wife, nearly all contact with the outside world and even his grip on reality for a time while in jail, he has emerged with head full of Zen (having found a copy of The Path to Zen in the prison yard one day), a fixation with fresh fruit (obviously not easy to come by while in prison), and an obsession with solving the murder that nearly cost him his life.
After successfully suing the city of Los Angeles and the LAPD, he has been reinstated to the police force, and received an undisclosed but substantial settlement.
While in jail, technology, culture, and life passed him by, as evidenced by his unfamiliarity with the now-everyday things like cellphones and instant messaging.
He's been partnered with Dani Reese (played by Sarah Shahi), who is not in the best of graces with her superiors either, having temporarily lost her way as an undercover narcotics agent.
Their Lieutenant is looking for a reason to get rid of Crews, and as she has a reason to get rid of Reese, is subtly blackmailing her with expulsion.

RasdienPremiere date: Friday, 5 November 2010 at 18h00
A new 13-episode comedy series conceptualised by comedian Joey Rasien, in which he plays himself - but not.
The series centres round Ben Rasdien (Joey) - who needs to do some growing up. He has a son, a successful career, and a fancy house. His brother and manager Mannie (played by Mortimer Williams) knows that Ben’s crazy mind is cash in their pockets. The problem is, Ben has too much fun being a 30-something kid.
His son, Zach, loves it when his dad plays with him, but sometimes he’d also like him to be a father.
Isidingo’s Kim Cloete plays Alice: Ben’s assistant, who helps him to paper over the cracks in his parenting - when they’re not at each other’s throats.
The series follow Ben’s daily antics as he walks back and forth on his tightrope between childhood and parenthood.
Fast fact: the show had the working title of Radical Rasdien, which changed to Rasdien.
