The 3rd annual Crown Gospel Awards went down at the ICC Arena in Durban last night (21 November).

The event was hosted by Sipho Kaleni and Carol Manana and will be broadcast on SABC1 on Sunday, 5 December 2010 at 17h30 (the broadcast is two hours).

If you don't want to know who won before catching the ceremony on TV, please don't read on.

I was there, cant wait to see the pics.... my favorite dress though was from Gospel Gold presenter / Generations Palesa's dress. She looked like a goddess... she cracked a joke greeting Msholozi.... she rocks!!!

I thought SABC was broadcasting the TELKOM FINAL between Chiefs & Pirates on the 4th at 20H00 or maybe I am wrong.

You're correcto ladyjay - we've just enquired and they've confirmed that they're gonna air the game first, and then the Crown's afterwards - at 22h00.

Do you know that I was wondering that too. And I thought maybe Im the misinformed one and Uhe has his own album with teh name My God is Big and it has its own DVD.

Another thing was that I didnt see how that snippet can be put up to compete with those other proper albums and actually.

Please educate, bantu..

When Uche was recording his DVD @ the Lyric Theatre he kept on updating his status on FB, but I do know that it was recorded after Joyous 13 where he also sings My God is Good. But then again also on his live DVD he has the song so I guess it would be also deemed as a proper album.

Also remember Jabu Nhlongwane and Sipho Makhabane have that "Vuz'owakho" song as their own although they also sing it together on one of the Joyous albums. Again Zaza, also from Joyous has a video for the song "Namhla nkosi siyamangala...." she sings it alone and the first time she sang it was on the Joyous album, so I guess it is also featured as one of her songs on the album.

I loved the awards- the performnances were on point, bar the fact that Lundi seemed drunk, wore a shocking pink suit, with bling on the collar and white sockes.
Sfiso Ncwane and his wife in a regurgitated Zanel Mbokazi dress (Zanele wore that dress last year) iritate me and that whole fake crying and nearly fainting thing was nonsense!

Otherwise great performances! I was happy.

A word: Zanele Mbokazi needs a stylist. Looking like a mermaid in 2010 is NOT cool! Farm julia goes to the Crown's indeed!

I have nothing against Celebrities but some of them while in public eye or in their hometown they expect ppl to threat them in a different way eg. wheneve u meet them u have to give them full attention or sing praises like Wow here comes the famous somebody that's a crap shame i am sorry to say some of them are tooooo much for me being famous doesn't mean that u are beta than anyone else,I am pissed off....
