Thembi is shocked to find out that Rachel knew about DJ Ngwazi's relationship with Sunay. Tshidi is still upset with her parents for making her drop out of the school play. She has a few close shaves that spell certain trouble.

Will the charges against S'bu be dropped? Tshidi is completely crushed now that her parents have absolutely forbidden her to be in the school play.

Episode 68

After the charges against S'bu are dropped, Miles tells S'bu about his plans to make him the heir to Redemption Records. It's Miles' hope that S'bu, with a clean slate, will begin working up the ranks. S'bu throws himself into the business of the club, his first priority being to get rid of Bra Touch. Suffocate is extremely sceptical. Thembi asks DJ Ngwazi to take her with him to the Bela Bela function but later discovers, via a triumphant Sunay, that she's booked into a caravan some distance from the hotel. Roxanne seems to be occupying more and more of the space in Tshidi's life.

Episode 70
Friday 12 October 2007

The boys' problems get worse when they discover the geyser has burst in the club's toilet. When they can't afford to cover the cost of the repairs themselves, they are forced to consider turning to Bra Touch to ask for the money. Thembi's spirits are somewhat low on the eve of her weekend away with DJ Ngwazi at Bela Bela. When the school principal allows Tshidi to make up her Life Orientation project, Kop and Mamokete finally decide to allow her back into the play. Meanwhile, Roxanne meets the boys at the gym and takes an immediate interest in Suffocate.

Episode 71
Monday 15 October 2007

Miles takes steps to make peace with S'bu and offers to help sort out the club's books. Roxanne learns how poor Tshidi's family is - financially - and Tshidi learns a little about Roxanne's background. Tshidi starts to realise how lucky she is to have her family. Thembi learns, via Rachel, that Sunay and DJ Ngwazi had a wild weekend together. Rachel appeals to David to intervene. The plumbers fix the geyser, putting Suffocate further into Bra Touch's debt. One of Zoro's customers suffers an overdose and collapses in the club.

Episode 72
Tuesday 16 October 2007

Miles advises the guys about running a business, but is shocked that they don't have books. S'bu outwits Zoro, who's ordering booze for himself at the club's expense, and tells the guys about Zoro's fraud. Suffocate is furious. They realise that Zoro is scamming the club - and Bra Touch. DJ Ngwazi discovers that Rachel spoke to David about him and Thembi. DJ Ngwazi takes this up with Thembi who, cross with her mother, confronts her. Roxanne flirts with Stone. Mamokete teaches Roxanne and Tshidi how to make pap and this leaves Tshidi rather embarrassed.

Episode 73
Wednesday 17 October 2007

S'bu, Suffocate, and Fats finally have something on Zoro that could give them the upper hand with regard to the loan repayment owing to Bra Touch. Will they finally be free from his grip? Roxanne breaks one of the sacred rules of friendship. Tshidi continues to struggle with her insecurities, even taking them out on her one ally, her big brother. Rachel tries to reach out to her daughter, but Thembi blocks her. Rachel is once again reminded of how she's failed as a mother. Thembi decides to give DJ Ngwazi a taste of his own medicine.

Episode 74
Thursday 18 October 2007

Thembi confides in Rachel that her relationship with DJ Ngwazi is becoming serious. S'bu finds it difficult to hide his disapproval when he bumps into Thembi and DJ Ngwazi at the coffee shop. S'bu tells Miles and Lucilla how they caught Zoro out and how this will result in considerable savings - and the hope that they will eventually be able to repay the debt to Bra Touch. After the final dress rehearsal, Roxanne gives Tshidi a beautiful opening night present. Tshidi's mood changes later when she walks into the room and finds Roxanne and Stone about to kiss.

Episode 75
Friday 19 October 2007

Thembi thinks DJ Ngwazi is ready to commit. Her bubble bursts when she sees him and Sunay together. It's the opening night of the play. Mamokete frets about what to wear as she fears embarrassing Tshidi in front of Roxy's parents. The opening night is a triumph. Tshidi is a star. S'bu wants to help Suffocate free himself of Bra Touch. But will Suffocate remain apathetic, resigned to be in Touch's debt for the rest of his life?

Episode 76
Monday 22 October 2007

S'bu asks Bra Touch what Suffocate owes him. Bra Touch gives him a vastly inflated figure of what S'bu had imagined. Thembi bonds with Gail over DJ Ngwazi's decision to spend the night with Sunay. Gail gives her a plan to make the DJ Ngwazi jealous. Tshidi enjoys a day off school and works on her Life Orientation project. Later, she walks in on Stone and Roxanne kissing. Fuelled with anger from this, and concern at Roxanne's increasingly clingy nature, Tshidi puts restrictions on her sleeping over at the Khuse household.

Episode 77
Tuesday 23 October 2007

As S'bu gets more excited about the upcoming club event, Miles is impressed with his son's level of commitment to the task. S'bu ends up booking two acts and everything finally looks like it's coming together, so the boys can finally be rid of Touch's influence. Thembi is forced to confess to Gail that she chickened out of her plan to make the DJ Ngwazi jealous. Gail suggest Thembi try again, this time not with a stranger, but someone she knows. Tshidi and Stone argue over Roxanne.

Episode 78 Wednesday
24 October 2007

A kiss between Thembi and S'bu, conceived as a ruse to arouse DJ Ngwazi's jealousy, has an effect that they didn't calculate. S'bu, in the meantime, has been preparing frantically for the big gig. He's even organised the R25 000 he needs as the down payment for the two bands he has contracted to perform. Roxy phones Tshidi to tell her to meet her at the club that night.

Episode 79
Thursday 25 October 2007

S'bu finds himself in serious trouble the day before the big gig when Bernard fails to come up with the money he needs as an advance payment for the bands. With expectations riding high from both Miles and Suffocate, S'bu doesn't know whom to turn to for help and feels the pressure to find a solution. Thembi and S'bu feel the awkward aftermath of their kiss from the night before. When DJ Ngwazi confronts Thembi about what's going on, she throws his rules back in his face and questions whether he's a hypocrite. Tshidi and Roxanne have a major falling out.

Episode 80
Friday 26 October 2007

S'bu tries to get the bands to accept full payment after the show. When the bands refuse, S'bu is forced to approach Miles for the cash. He's successful, but things go horribly wrong when the money goes missing at the club. DJ Ngwazi is still hung up about the fact that Thembi kissed S'bu but tries to play it cool. Seeing the plan is working, Gail encourages Thembi to rev things up a bit, but Thembi fears she may have already caused lasting damage to her friendship with S'bu. Fats starts to think he should do something to fix up the gym and Tshidi and Roxanne decide to patch things up after their fight the previous day. Then Roxanne's father suddenly shows up at the Khuse household.

Episode 81
Monday 29 October 2007

S'bu confesses to Miles that the money was stolen. Miles blows his top. When she visits the club, Tshidi starts talking to Zoro. Fats warns her to keep her distance and tells her that Zoro is a drug dealer. Tshidi seems intrigued by this and when Stone also tells her to keep away from him, we are left with the impression that Tshidi is not going to listen to either of them.

DJ Ngwazi admits to David that seeing Thembi kissing S'bu has affected his sexual performance. David suggests that the remedy might be to tell her the truth, which he does. Thembi only agrees to stop seeing other guys if DJ Ngwazi is prepared to commit to a monogamous relationship. Fats gets a visit from his friend Mo, who runs guided tours through the township. He suggests that Kilowatt might be an interesting stopover for the tourists and this gets Fats thinking.

Episode 82
Tuesday 30 October 2007

DJ Ngwazi makes it clear - while on air - that he doesn't believe in monogamy. A broken-hearted Thembi tells him he is a coward. Rachel has words with Sunay. It is S'bu who finally provides some comfort to Thembi. His feelings for her seem to be intensifying.

Suffocate and Stone get closer to collaborating to oust Bra Touch. Roxanne comes to say goodbye as she is leaving for boarding school in KZN. She shamelessly flirts with Stone and Suffocate. Stone expresses his worry about Tshidi's interest in troubled (dodgy) souls, especially now that she's been talking to Zoro. Bra Touch is now using the club as his base and Suffocate's helplessness is amplified.

Episode 83
Wednesday 31 October 2007

Stone approaches the guys at the club with ideas on how to rid the club of Bra Touch's drug pushers. Suffocate is initially reluctant to hear what he has to say, but eventually it becomes evident that they could be a formidable team. Tshidi sneaks out of the house to quiz Zoro on his day job as a drug dealer. S'bu feels Thembi out about her relationship with DJ Ngwazi.

Fats is beginning to be sold on the idea of starting a tourism business and starts thinking of a way to tie it up with the gym. Once again, Mamokete is dealing with the frustration of the day-to-day running of the gym - which doesn't entail much since the gym is almost always empty what with Fats spending most of his time at the clu
