When Fats tries to pretend to cry for Mpumi again, she loses her cool. Fats gets the wrong impression and, thinking she's actually broken up with him, ends up crying for real.
The boys up the pressure on S'bu to bed the third and final member of Sizzle, in order to win the bet.
Monday 4 May 2009Episode 476 Tshidi uses subterfuge to persuade the journalist to speak to Mpumi about her article. Smokey takes a shine to Gail. Zondi persuades Sunay and Ivan to give Tshidi a gig as a backing singer. Miles has an ill-advised meeting with Andisa's former boyfriend, Max.
Lu has decided not to trust Gina, but will the former Pussycat Lounge manager's persistence wear her down?
Tuesday 5 May 2009Episode 477 Lu is alerted to the possibility that David and Ronald are in cahoots by David's use of a tell-tale phrase. Gina gives her the lowdown on what sort of man David Genaro really is.
A shocked Lu returns home, forced to maintain a charade of a relationship. Desperately unhappy Fats is at last persuaded to tell Mpumi what his true feelings are for her.
Wednesday 6 May 2009Episode 478 A wary Lu shares her fears about David with Miles who urges her to get evidence. David and Ronald desperately try to understand Lu's sudden shifty behaviour.
A suspicious Andisa interrogates Miles about meddling in her relationship with Max. Tshidi's return to the world of singing begins, as well as her lying to her family again. Using business as a cover, Smokey plots to woo Gail.
Thursday 7 May 2009Episode 479 Lu starts probing David about the Pussycat Lounge. It makes him extremely suspicious about who might be behind this. Smokey is desperate to find out if Gail and S'bu are involved.
Eventually he tells Gail that S'bu is two-timing her with the Sizzle girls. She reveals they are in fact not involved, but is deeply shocked about S'bu's nocturnal activities. Tshidi saves Sunay from a potentially disastrous situation with Ivan.
Friday 8 May 2009Episode 480 David apologises for his outburst the previous evening and Lu finds herself believing his version of events. Ronald photographs Lu and Gina together and shows the photos to David.
Sunay buys Tshidi breakfast to thank her for saving her the night before, but Tshidi is fast becoming disillusioned with the music industry. Gail is furious when Elmarie confirms what Smokey told her about S'bu sleeping with the Sizzle girls.
Monday 11 May 2009Episode 481 Lu contacts Gina to meet her one last time to prove once and for all whether she is in fact telling the truth about David and Ronald. Tshidi decides it's for the best that she focus her attention on her job and studies.
Sunay has rather different plans for her. Things are becoming increasingly awkward for S'bu and Gail (and consequently for Miles and Elmarie) as a result of all the secrets and lies concerning DJ Smokey and the girls of Sizzle.
Tuesday 12 May 2009Episode 482 David informs a startled Lu that until he's had time to clear his name of the outrageous rumours she's reported to him, he will move into a hotel. Lu has no luck in tracing Gina.
Zondi tells a surprised Tshidi that Sunay has specifically requested she be her backing singer for the next gig. Gail changes her mind about the Sizzle girls.
Wednesday 13 May 2009Episode 483 Miles and Andisa continue planning their romantic getaway. Lu has spent a sleepless night with all the lights on, her anxiety and paranoia about David growing every second. Tshidi is now desperate to carry on with her newfound singing career.
When Sunay pulls another diva move, Ivan reveals his frightening, ruthless side. Lu pours out her worry and confusion about David to Miles: something happens that takes them both by surprise.
Thursday 14 May 2009Episode 484S'bu realises Miles is cheating on Andisa, but manages to keep his dad's secret from her. The Sizzle girls, on Gail's instigation, become more demanding and start to make S'bu's life difficult. Miles makes a decision about his love life. David and Ronald are still on Gina's trail.
Friday 15 May 2009Episode 485 Miles' dilemma about whether to tell Andisa about Lu continues. S'bu and Gail continue with their power struggle. Tshidi prepares for her performance at the Kilowatt club, trying to get over the memory of her last performance during Star Struck!
What she doesn't know is that Sunay has a remedy for such nerves and encourages Tshidi to partake.
Lu is still a jumpy wreck living alone in David's house. The only person she feels she can trust is Miles.
Monday 18 May 2009Episode 486 Everyone, including Zondi, is impressed by Tshidi's performance at the Kilowatt gig. She, however, feels ambivalent. The physical after-effects of the coke, combined with her sense of guilt, make her decide once again to turn her back on music.
S'bu confronts his father about his cheating on Andisa, but Miles is in denial. The tension between Gail and S'bu increases as her date with Smokey approaches.
Tuesday 19 May 2009Episode 487 Miles decides that, despite his feelings for Lu, he should stick with Andisa. However, after a surprise encounter with David, Miles and Lu find themselves back in each other's arms.
A curious Tshidi asks Sunay more about her cocaine habit. Initially, Smokey and Gail find themselves with little to talk about when they go out on their date.
Wednesday 20 May 2009Episode 488 S'bu encounters the alarming sight of Smokey, scantily clad, in his lounge. David is convinced something is going on between Miles and Lu. He installs round the clock guards outside Lu's house, for "security" reasons.
Tshidi has decided she has to tell her parents she is going to perform. Miles is surprised by all the travel arrangements Andisa has made for their trip.
Thursday 21 May 2009Episode 489 Victoria alerts Lu to the fact that if she distracts the security guard, visitors can make their way into the house without David ever finding out. Ronald reports he's hot on Gina's trail. Mamokete and Kop debate what they should do about their stressed out daughter. Tshidi meets Sunay to do a line or two. A giant bouquet of flowers is delivered to Gail, exciting S'bu's jealousy. Gail tells Carmel the quickest route to realising her dream is not to sleep with S'bu.
Friday 22 May 2009Episode 490 David almost catches Miles and Lu together. Miles tells Superintendent Stofberg about David's threat. David is incensed. Gina is handcuffed to the wall and left in a deserted warehouse.
Tshidi enjoys her coke experience. She's really excited when her parents say they won't stand in the way of her singing career, as long as she pays rent. S'bu very nearly gets lucky with Carmel, but Gail succeeds in putting a spanner in the works.
Monday 25 May 2009Episode 491 S'bu confesses he hasn't completed his three-gal challenge, but is given an extension on his deadline. Lu tries to make up with Wandi after her recent neglect of their friendship. David has to make up his mind up about Gina.
He also visits the Vilakazi home for a face-to-face confrontation with Miles. Sunay and Nkhensani come to blows in the Kilowatt club. There are certainly compensations afterwards for the starlet when she gets together with Thula.
Tuesday 26 May 2009Episode 492 Miles tells Lu about reporting David's remark to the police, and about David's absolute denial he had anything to do with Rachel's death. Miles is frustrated at Lu's refusal to advance their romance.
Suffocate warns Thula he's playing with fire. Gail forces S'bu to promise not to try to take Carmel to bed. In return for his promise, she backs his and Miles' decision to sign a five-song deal with Sizzle.
Wednesday 27 May 2009Episode 493 S'bu, having finally bedded the last Sizzle girl, tries unsuccessfully to sneak her out of the house. In a heated confrontation with Gail, it's revealed she went behind his back and met up with Sizzle, to encourage them to hold out on him.
Lu confides about her affair with Miles to Wandi. Miles attempts to break up with Andisa, but ends up sleeping with her instead. Ronald warns a desperate Gina that David will kill her if she doesn't cooperate.
Thursday 28 May 2009Episode 494 Thula looks down the barrel with Ivan Tshinawa who, strangely, takes no action against him. Sunay is deeply shocked Ivan has not harmed Thula. David toys with Gina, psychologically torturing her.
Miles feels awful after having slept with Andisa and does the worst possible thing: he takes his confusion to Lu. She tells him nothing more should happen between the two of them until matters with Andisa are completely resolved.
Friday 29 May 2009Episode 495 Ivan officially dumps Sunay. It's a blanket and live chicken for exhausted and broken Gina. Bored David instructs Ronald to trigger the discovery of the bodies in Lesotho.
Gail is now the official manager of Sizzle and Elmarie is now a full member of Hustle. Andisa slaps Miles when he tells her it's over between them. Tshidi is told to buy coke on behalf of Sunay, who needs to recover from yet another spat with Nkhensani.
