Monday 2 March 2009Episode 431 Nonti offers Diphuka a job at 9-Nine FM. When David hears what's planned, he's angry. Suffocate finds himself becoming irrationally jealous although Khanyi assures him very little sex has happened between her and her husband. When Suffocate learns her spouse is taking Khanyi out for an anniversary celebration, he decides to tail him.
Tuesday 3 March 2009Episode 432 David is alarmed when Diphuka makes crazy statements about him leaving Lu to set up house with her. Khanyi pulls out all the stops to convince Suffocate that her guilt will not allow her to continue with their relationship. Tshidi is mortified when Sis Bee suggests Stone no longer help out at the spaza shop and alerts her to the community's belief that the Khuses are somehow cursed.
Wednesday 4 March 2009 Episode 433David surprises both Lu and Diphuka by announcing he thinks Diphuka should take the job at 9-Nine fm. Nonti approaches S'bu, but at their meeting seems more interested in discussing Rachel Phakati's death than Hustle. Khanyi arrives with a nasty surprise. Distracted by her studies, Tshidi inadvertently sells Mpumi's mother's home brew to a customer who wants milk.
Thursday 5 March 2009Episode 434David and Ronald discuss how best to shake off Diphuka. Miles, Gail, and S'bu argue over Kop's appointment. Suffocate struggles to restrain himself from intervening in Khanyi and her abusive husband's issues. Ronald hacks into Nonti's computer - but the operation doesn't go as smoothly as planned. Tshidi's mistake of accidentally selling traditional beer to Rose's husband has unexpected consequences.
Friday 6 March 2009Episode 435 When Diphuka gets pushy, David tells her it's time to move on. Khanyi tells Suffocate she can't leave the country without her husband's permission. Suffocate is confused. What does she mean? She can't leave the country with their baby. Fats outlines his special milk business proposal to the others.
Monday 9 March 2009Episode 436 Diphuka decides to take advantage of the fact that Lu is in KZN, although it doesn't please David. This leads to Diphuka confiding in someone who doesn't have her best interests at heart.
After considering all his options Suffocate decides to make a drastic decision concerning his relationship with Khanyi. Business starts booming at the spaza, but this time it's not due to Mamokete's vetkoek.
Tuesday 10 March 2009Episode 437 Ronald tells Nonti he has discovered who she really is, and that he knows she stole the identity of a dead girl. Ronald refuses to help David by getting rid of Diphuka.
Khanyi takes Suffocate straight up to his rooms for a memorable sex session, which leaves him convinced he should not break off their relationship. Stone promises eager customers he'll notify them as soon as another consignment of "special milk" arrives. Kop has messed up again at Hustle.
Wednesday 11 March 2009Episode 438 David tells Lu, that while she was away, he was shocked to discover Diphuka in his bed one night. Khanyi's husband tells Suffocate to keep away from his wife. Kop asks if he can have his old job back as he's not coping with the filing. Nonti calls Ronald and says she's prepared to work with him against David Genaro.
Thursday 12 March 2009Episode 439 Lu forces Diphuka to consult a psychologist for help. Nonti meets with Gina, and fishes for more information about David. Khanyi tells Suffocate of her night of terror with her husband. He speculates about how much better their lives would be if her husband simply didn't exist.
Friday 13 March 2009Episode 440When Lucilla shares the fact that she sought out Ziyanda as someone who might be able to help Diphuka, David is alarmed. Suffocate decides to make it clear that bumping off Khanyi's husband isn't an option. Mpumi's "special milk" is taking off in the neighbourhood after word gets out that the elixir has certain properties that enhance sexual performance.
Monday 16 March 2009Episode 441 Diphuka's obsession with David is becoming destructive. Her first (and possibly last) session with Ziyanda ends badly. David has sex with Diphuka while Lu sleeps upstairs.
Suffocate, who has hardly slept, brings a badly beaten Khanyi home and decides he's had enough of her husband. The special milk is proving to be popular and special trading hours are started. Mamokete is suspicious about the sudden increase in sales.
Tuesday 17 March 2009Episode 442 Suffocate and Khanyi go forward with their plan to murder her husband. Diphuka is trying to extract her own brand of sexual healing from David. Nonti's campaign to get revenge on David is gathering momentum, and David realises his liaison with Diphuka might prove to be an Achilles' heel. How long will Ronald play his dangerous double game?
Wednesday 18 March 2009Episode 443 Lu forces Diphuka to see Ziyanda again, but her niece has ideas of her own. Stone persuades Kop to see the merits of continuing with the trading of beer from their household. Suffocate grapples with his decision to kill Khanyi's husband. Fats and Thula discover he has a gun.
Thursday 19 March 2009Episode 444 Ronald drops by, under the guise of Keith Melville, to hand David's wallet to Lu, and Diphuka decides to make a startling announcement after dinner. Kop suggests they extend the hours of trading for the beer, but it's becoming harder and harder to keep Mamokete in the dark about the whole operation.
Friday 20 March 2009Episode 445 Diphuka has dropped the bombshell she's been having an affair with David. He has to pull out all the stops to make Lu believe this is not true. Mpumi resigns from her job as brew master.
Suffocate sees something in the paper that totally rocks him. He enlists Fats's help. Suffocate returns to the club late at night. He picks up his cell phone and dials Khanyi. He says, "I've done it. I've killed him."
Monday 23 March 2009Episode 446 At the Khuse household, the special milk is starting to take its toll on everyone involved. They are considering cutting their losses while they are ahead... everybody that is, but Kop. Will Suffocate catch Khanyi out for the liar that she is... or not?
Tuesday 24 March 2009Episode 447Suffocate confronts Khanyi about her scheme to murder her husband, and there is a final showdown between them in the club, with unexpected results. Diphuka is driven to desperate stakes by David's determination to remove her from his home.
Mamokete decides to resume work in the spaza shop, with stressful results for the rest of the family. Diphuka realises Ziyanda has also been consulting with David all the time she's been seeing her.
Wednesday 25 March 2009Episode 448 Diphuka finally does what she's been threatening to do, and David is there to witness it. The brewery is unceremoniously shut down, costing the Khuses some of the money they made, in the form of a hefty fine. Tshidi's beginning to get a little restless and eager to move on with her life.
Thursday 26 March 2009Episode 449 David sits at Diphuka's side, waiting for her to die, while Ziyanda, panicked by the sudden intuition that something terrible is happening to threaten the girl's life, tries to get in touch first with David (who lies), then with Lu. Diphuka mutters something about having written down something that will tell the world what really happened.
Friday 27 March 2009Episode 450 Diphuka fights for her life in hospital. Ziyanda grapples with what she fears might be murder, whilst Lu blames her for not intervening quickly enough as her therapist. The Khuses reel in the wake of the closing of the special milk business - still a secret to a now fully recovered Mamokete. Tshidi begins to feel the pressure of being unemployed.
Monday 30 March 2009Episode 451 Tshidi is still desperately job hunting. When Mpumi says there's a job going at her shop as a tea lady, Tshidi is mortified. Connie is livid with both Lu and David. Mamokete tells Tshidi that right now, she should be at university on a bursary. Instead, they're left with another mouth to feed.
Tuesday 31 March 2009Episode 452Nonti and her new associate, Ronald, puzzle out the sequence of events on the night Diphuka died. Ronald confirms the facts with David, who has no reason to suspect him. Nonti decides to build a dossier of evidence against David to use as a lever to get what she wants from him.
Tshidi, having alienated Mpumi with her arrogance, now discovers she has no friends or supporters as she struggles to find a job.
