Leaked! SABC Expenses Claims

A document has been leaked to TVSA from a very reliable source - it comes straight out of the inner workings of the SABC and documents questionable expenses alledgedly accrued and paid for by the pubcaster over the past two years.

The document was sent to the Acting CEO Gab Mampone by the union of SABC workers in their tussle over their pay increase. Both have been verified - the document was sent and received.

Employees are asking for a 12.2% increase, SABC has offered 8.5% and the unions are saying that they'll only consider it if there's an indepth forensic investigation into a huge list of expenses they're concerned about.

An insider has revealed that those who wrote the document have access to the relevant invoices and that the figures in the document are only for those expenses they managed to get access to - the implication is that there are more.

Whopping humdingers contained in the document (over and above all the rest that are way out of control too) include:

DStv giveways for half-ex employees

Ever heard of the SABC Foundation??

It seems petrol inflation doesn't effect everyone ...
sabcclaims_6
Yup, that's right. We also thought we were seeing wrong - R18 million.
-----

And an ultimate shocker, prepare to freak  ... the Content Hub commissions new shows ....

sabcclaims_9
That's 7million a MONTH in salaries to commission repeats of repeats during primetime!!

All the amounts and names within the document are allegations i.e. they're not fact until proven true.

Whether or not they are, take a look at the full document and you be the judge: To Be Read At HQ. (Right click and choose "Save Target As" or "Open")
