The 2014 MTV Movie Awards went down at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night (13 April) and aired live on MTV in the early hours of this morning.
A broadcast of the ceremony will air on both MTV and MTV Base on DStv tonight (14th), starting at 21h00 on both channels. The broadcast starts with a pre-show, which begins at 20h30.

The ceremony was hosted by Conan O'Brien who kicked things off by breaking the world record for the most number of celebrity cameo appearances in a show opening. Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o was number 13 on the list.
Lupito, who was nominated for Best Female Performance, didn't win the category unfortunately. As you'll see, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire gobbled up the dominant categories of the night.
