The
8th annual South African Film and Television Awards are coming up on 4 and 5 April 2014 and voting lines are now open for the Best TV Soap category, the only category to be voted for by viewers.
All soapies are competing for the award, except for SABC2's Muvhango unfortunately. The soapie didn't enter the SAFTAs this year. Also unaccounted for is Mzansi Magic's Zabalaza.
If you'd like to vote for your fave soapie, you can do so by SMS'ing the soapie's code to 33100. SMS's cost R1.50 each. Voting lines will close on 5 April.

The winner will be announced during the Saturday ceremony on 5 April. The ceremony will air live on SABC3 from 19h00, starting with a red carpet build-up followed by the ceremony at 20h00.
