Telemundo responds to TVSA complaints

TVSA members and readers have been very unhappy about the introduction of the celebrity gossip show Confessions of Stars on Telemundo during Primetime.

The show replaces the popular telenovela My Heart Beats For Lola, which ended on the channel on Wednesday (12 February). Confessions of Stars premieres in it's 18h00 time slot this Monday (17th).

We reported the news in late January and we've been receiving loads of complaints from readers who are unhappy that another telenovela isn't starting instead. The general sentiment amongst everyone we've heard from is that the gossip show should be in the afternoon so that the 18h00 time slot can feature a new telenovela instead.

We passed along your complaints to Telemundo and they've responded. This letter just in ...

“Hi TVSA readers,

Thanks for your feedback. We understand and take your comments into consideration but please bear with us as what we have implemented is temporary.

Confessions of Stars is a show that will last for a few weeks till we introduce more great telenovelas for your viewing pleasure. So do keep watching."

Thank u so much for all your effort & acknowledging our requests... Personally I think Telemundo is being flippemt and they don't seem to care about our concerns. Let them ignore us... No one will be home early enough to watch their Forbbiden Passions... they can watch it themselves. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH Telemundo!

Thank you TVSA. I was so ready for Forbbiden Passions but the timeslot is all wrong. I used to be a follower of Aurora during the repeat after Behind closed doors at 7:40PM. But when Delmonte started hey where repeating Aurora at 11pm. Which was/is really wrong. Why not repeat it after Delmonte? The same will happen to Forbbiden Passions and we wont be able to watch it. Telemundo expect pple to sit on Satuday aftrnoon 2pm- 6pm for the repeat. Remember we actually have a life and some of us are catching up BBM on Saturdays. ALSO DISAPPOINTED WITH TELEMUNDO

Oh my word! I was so annoyed with Confession of the stars 18:00 yesterday... I couldn't help but switched channels... Really! we're stuck with that till mid March?

Do we really have to go through with that nonsense of confession of stars...I mean no one really cares about what they do behind the scene, all we want is a new telenovela on-screen...Telemundo quit stalling we want a new telenovela

Well Confession of the stars is kinda interesting, but you all should understand that it is humans who act this novelas', and every novela Telemundo starts showing is a new one that we haven't seen before. I do understand their reply because i think these few weeks that are used to for 'Confession of the stars' are used to prepare another Novela. I'm not disappointed in Telemundo but the should try to change the time frame. Thanks.
