I've seen Long Walk, it wasn't good at all. These nominated movies were awesome, the Academy people were truthful, they didn't go with sentimentality that Mandela is Mandela, you have to be truthful and honest. The other movies were awesome, the only one I haven't seen is 12 Years A Slave.

Bono was nominated with the song and I think it's a great song. Yes, we are a little sad MANDELA movie wasn't nominated, but we have to be truthful and honest, the other movies were good. Let's not try and find fault but go back and try to do better for next year. I loved the Butler but it's not nominated either, I can't blame Academy people, the other movies were  better and that's what they need to do, go with who was best.

I wish Martin Scorsese wins. I loved his movie. But I've always loved him anyway

im surprised Rush and nymphoniac were not up for best picture.i thought Idris would get a nod for his role but alas .aside from that i have no issue with mandela;lwtf not being nominatd.the academy will probably give it best song for sentimental reasons

Can this be the year that Leonardo DiCaprio finally wins an oscar? Eish Matthew McConaughey could be the one to watch this time around, but we'll see.
