So true tha - bang, SO true.

I found the winners very predictable - the nominees too actually. I'm thrilled that Breaking Bad won because it deserves it but it's win feels so contrived too "It's ended so we must award it."

I also don't agree with the Best Mini-Series win - I loved Top of the Lake but I've seen Dancing on the Edge too and it deserves a win more. It's very excellent - highly recommend watching it if you come across it.

PS: I haven't seen Behind the Candelabra (which won the mini-series category) but I don't see how it can be so much better than either Top of the Lake or Dancing on the Edge because of how excellent they are. Behind the Candelabra sounds as if it's gimmicky.
