A Pretoria dance instructor handed in one thousand entry forms for M-Net's upcoming reality series Survivor: South Africa on Saturday.
According to Afrikaans newspaper Beeld Pierre van Niekerk (49), a resident of Rietfontein in Pretoria, dropped off a thousand entry forms at M-Net's Randburg offices on Saturday, claiming he did it "to draw attention".
"I've already started practising", he told the newspaper. "I'm honing my skills at catapult shooting and I'm doing my best with a bow and arrow."
Van Niekerk believes his enthusiastic output will draw the attention of the selection panel, saying that it is "everybody's dream to take part in this series."
Survivor: South Africa will be filmed in Panama in June, and broadcast on M-Net in September.
