The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations arrives at the weekend and with it comes the broadcast of 32 games. The SABC and DStv will each be airing all of the matches.
To help you sift through the chaos of times and fixtures we've put together this compact pack featuring printable schedules, highlight shows and channel changes as a result of the coverage.
SABC1 coverage
SABC1 will be broadcasting 28 of the 32 games.
The matches will dominate the evening schedule so four SABC1 shows will be moving to SABC2 for the duration of the tournament.
The Bold and the Beautiful, Generations, Zone 14 and the News will all move to SABC2 and will be broadcast at the same time as when they air on SABC1.

SABC1 soapies switch to SABC2.
All other SABC1 shows that are impacted by matches will fall away and resume when their timeslot becomes free again. Titles including Friends Like These and The Real Goboza won't move to another channel - they'll be off air when they're impacted and then return when their timeslot permits.
The AFCON opening ceremony kicks off the tournament on Saturday (19 January) and starts at 16h00. SABC1 will be airing it live with a build-up before. The schedule for the day is as follows:

SABC3 coverage
SABC3 will be broadcasting the four games that can't air on SABC1 - they're happening at the same time as other games so there's a clash.
The schedule for these is as follows:
Sunday, 27 January: Cape Verde Island vs. Angola
Monday, 28 January: DR Congo vs. Mali
Tuesday, 29 January: Ethiopia vs. Nigeria
Wednesday, 30 January: Togo vs. Tunisia
Coverage of each game starts at 18h30 and ends at 21h30.
SuperSport coverage
Two SuperSport channels will be covering the tournament 24 hours a day: SuperSport 4 (204) and SuperSport HD 2 (212). Both channels will cover the majority of the games as well as the opening ceremony on Saturday.
The times for each match are listed on the

In the four days where two games are being played at the same time, the second game will air on SuperSport 3 (203).
