No 2011 SA's Got Talent

Since the end of SA's Got Talent 2 we've received numerous requests from readers about when the series will be back for Season 3.
We've been investigating and today we can confirm that there won't be a season this year unfortunately.
It seems that the reason is that Cadbury's has no talent. Word from an industry insider is that SABC2 and Cadbury's had meetings about the sponsorship of another season and they weren't able to reach an agreement so the 2011 season has been shelved.
Apparently the costs involved in making the show are very high so a sponsor really needs to come to the party for it. As for whether or not it'll ever return, we suppose it depends on how many Lunch Bars Cadbury's sells between then and now.
The result is that I Want To Sing Gospel 2 will be SABC2's headline reality show for the year. We'll keep you posted on future developments should SA's Got Talent return next year.

Im glad its not returning......... reason being people who have talent in proudly african way dont win last year that old man won simply because he could sing , kanti is it a singing competition yini ???

guys am really sorry go tsaw agendeng, i am a person living with disability. i hv a problem with sassa department bcz they denying me with my disability grant. its really a long story but to cut it short i would jst say they r owing an outstanding of R30000 and i want wat is rightfully mine. pls bloggers gv me some ideas on what to do coz i went to their offices thousands times but am not succeding.
PLEASE GUYS HELP!!!!!!!!

I never liked it. It looked like a low budget community fund raising talent concert. That's one less franchise inundating our television screens. I'm happy!

I wasn't a big fan of the show and only watched when I had time. So I'm not gonna complain about this one.

I think its because maybe the second season didnt do well as the first season. First season was the bomb many people watched it and it was a success. I dont what happened with season two people didnt have much interest in it. I also didnt watch it like season1. I only watch it towards the end to see who was going to win.
