Meet the Survivor SA: Maldives contestants

The fourth season of Survivor South Africa - Survivor South Africa: Maldives - features nine celebrities taking on 10 ordinary people in a "plebs vs celebs" scenario, as they all vie for the grand prize of R1-million.
We're not sure why there is an uneven number of contestants, but it seems set up for a quickfire elimination at the start of the game, unless the extra "pleb" is meant to give the pleb tribe an advantage over the celeb one.
According to M-Net, the celebs and plebs will be competing against each other (up until the merge, we assume), although exact details of the gameplay have not yet been released.
The celebs are mainly actors and musicians, but the plebs look an interesting bunch: they include a maths lecturer (according to M-Net "the brainiest contestant ever"), a biokineticist (whatever the hell that is), a professional rugby player who has represented Springbok Sevens, a parliament lawyer and a make-up artist.

What you need to know: Letshego is a fitness freak and is involved in a charity initiative where she will raise funds for kids by swimming, running and cycling 4000 kms in 7 months. She also appeared on e.tv's Fear Factor in 2006.

Wow cool, Lesego is back onrealityshows, she really did well in 2006's Fear Factor SA. I remember she was the talk of the campus as we were studying with her at TUT

Lol @TVSA Newsdesk, I have been to a biokineticist last year and I must schedule another appointment for this year. Basically what they do is that they assess ur fitness through a state-of-the-art system that's combined with physical activities such as pull ups, push ups, step exercise ect etc. Meanwhile, there is something they put on your chest which reads your heart rate and based on your overall performance/fitness during the exercises you get scored based on how you did on each category.
At the end, they will be able to tell your BMI, if according to your weight and BMI, you are way too oldor young or you are your exact age. The system will reccomend the kind of food you should eat.
If you are on vitality, you will earn points to a maximum of 7500 and your points can elevate your vitality status. If you are on Gold, you can get massive discounts such as 45% dicount at any Southern Sun hotels, 25% discount when flying through Kulula and British Airways. You can also subcribe for 7 magazines on a very very low price like 12 issues of True Love for R30 as well as other mags such as Destiny Man, Men's Health etc etc. If you shop for healthy food at Pick 'n Pay, you can get a minimum of R50 paid into bank account just because you look after your health. Jeez man, I must stop this, Vitality needs to pay me for educating people about their products. I was just trying to explain the biokineticist thing and what the benefits are lol.

Isn't this supposed to be celebrity survivor like the one with abo Jub Jub? I don't know most of these people, anyway even last's year's was full of unknowns.

Wow @makitso. I also know Letshego from Res. She was my friend's roommate at Minjonet Res in our 1st year. We stayed opposite their Res at Polonaise Res.
