As we spilt when it was first announced, SABC has been running a nationwide competition to find an official Bafana Bafana support song to be played on SABC radio stations and TV channels during the World Cup.

The competition kicked off on Tuesday, 2 March and called for people to submit their original songs. Entries closed on Wednesday, 2 April, the judging panel deliberated and five finalists have been chosen.

It's now up to the nation to decide which track will become the official SABC Bafana supporters anthem.

Each of the five finalists have been getting radio and TV airtime as we speak. SABC radio stations and channels started playing their songs from Friday, 23 April and will continue to do so until next Tuesday (4 May).

To get into the spirit of it all we managed to our clutches on them so that you can take a listen to them in your own time, rant and rave, and vote for your fave.

We've put them into a player so that you can play them as easily as possible. The player works similarly to YouTube. To listen, simply click on the track you want to hear and it'll start playing by itself. You can change the volume in the control bar. It also moves from one song to the next if you leave it playing.

Without further adieu, these are finalist tracks, with info. about them below:

(Please note: If you find that the track isn't sounding smoothe, this is because it's not downloading quickly enough. To play smoothly: press Play, wait for the opening notes of the track, then press Pause. Wait for it to buffer in the background (you'll see the yellow download bar moving). Once the download is complete, hit Play.)

Cody, I agree with you.  Im going for number 3 - it just needs isgubu qha

Number 4 reminds me of Jonny Clegg (umlungu omnyana) I don't like.

Number 5 just needs a backing from Barorisi Ba Morena (clap and tap) then it will fly.

Dam right saying someone sounds like Johnny Clegg is a compliment!! Definitely number4 is by far the best because it sounds like there was a lot of effort that person put into it as opposed to the others. Go Don you rock!!! Whose a ballie?? Not you Don!

Sounding like Jonny Clegg in 2010 is not so AYOBA - we need fresh stuff.  Originality.

and if I hear that Wakaka song again, Im definitely killing someone.

They are original okay number 4 that is .... it is a compliment to sound like Johnny Clegg but at the end of the day he is not and if you listen to the words ... what can I say kick it up bafana bafana that is all the counts -- I sure hope they win as they deserve it and if you had seen them live at Splashy you would agree... the choir is unbelievable.
